You missed the point, Pippyman.......We know that there are those "articles" out there, as well as the "warnings" from various sources. It is not what I was referring to. One can find a great deal of troll generated press and complaints - not debating that.
Paddy: Your points are well taken. We are not pointing at anyone in particular, and I was asking why GN, WW, and others would have left. You raise interesting points, and PaulM adds sound rebuttal to some arguments. Both of you are nosing toward a certain fact: this isn't an isolated, singular event. Many things had to happen (or not happen) to get us where we are today. Rather than blame the driver, lets look at the engine first.

"Given what we have discussed so far, WHY do you think YOU would have left Pips?"
Well, I guess the main reason would be, it's getting too HOT to stay!
As for GN and WW.....the above reason plus starting their own business (victrading.com) which is already offline (wonder why?).

Hi PaulM
Good to see you here! It was from reading the opinions of members such as you on the original PIPS forum that influenced my decision in deciding to join PIPS. That was almost two years ago now.
Naturally I’m very disappointed by the events that came into play during 2005. However, I do not regret having joined and the more I learn just confirms my gut feeling from the beginning that PIPS always was and is the real deal. I remain optimistic that PIPS shall pull through. But I don’t kid myself, PIPS has surely taken a battering. I too would not be averse to foregoing my withdrawals if that meant ensuring the longevity of the program.
Hope you’re able to spend some time here, I believe your input would be very useful.
……………………….
Anyone know what became of Proracr (Chris)? He always struck me as a straight shooter. Not seen anything of him since the PIPS forum closed.

But then you read their release and it seems they were clueless. Why would this contradict what we have been told?"The expert at the "Central", Majid Assuri, expected a remarkable improvement in the rate of the dinar, due to the low dollar exchange rate, over the next couple of months."

PaulM and all new members joining us, a quick breakdown of events past and current in such rather a long thread.
We have covered the birth of PIPs, the key players involved, the evolvement of the company with all its tribulations..defaults such as member to member exchanges, CC fraud and the like... up untill the last convention in Hawaii.
We are now in the last remaining months before PIPs went off-line.
Arcturus, our Kapitan, is steering a middle course thro all the hype, lies and misguided information that has plagued us ever since.
You are most welcome to add any relevent information that will help all of us reach land in one piece ;)
Regards
