This thread seems to have become a bit of a riot where everyone is lashing out at everyone else without much reason.

First of all, Burn was in dire straits when he asked for help after he left Pips. His daughter was sick from birth and had breathing and visual difficulties. He had to move because the air quality near KL was so poor due to heavy smoke from neighbouring islands which was going on for months. Some of us raised money towards a breathing apparatus for her and she needed expensive medication. I spoke to Burn several times at that time and he had nothing but respect for Bryan and Sharon but did not comment on the circumstances of his leaving Pips.

Robin Marter is a forensic accountant with a banking background from South Africa. He is a Pioneer pipster and attended both of the conventions, most of the events on the world tour and the trip to Panama which Bryan attended which I recall was a Banking Convention. Bryan seemed to get on very well with him and presumably trusted him enough to accept his and Rex's offer to help with the re-structure plan.

Robin Marter and Rex run a business management consultancy firm in the UK. They have both become highly regarded amongst UK members. I have known Robin for some time and consider him a friend. Both Robin and Rex are bound by a NDA agreement with Bryan which as far as I know they have honoured to the letter refusing to be drawn into any discussion about the restructure plans that they worked on despite pressure from the PipsUK forum.

BTW is there no doubt that Aequitas Rex and RexM are one and the same? The Rex I have spoken to several times on the phone seems to be a little more circumspect!(LOL)

Robin went to Nilai for a couple of weeks or so but Rex stayed in the UK. I am reading very myopically between the lines here but as Bryan still had his office in the old Pips HQ and all the others were housed up the road above the datacentre there may have been some mistrust which might have made it difficult for the consultants to access all the data they needed. This is my own guess as to why their visit was cut shorter than originally planned but I might be well off target.

Robin was asked for his professional assistance to help set up Victrading. As that is what he and his firm do for a living there is (IMHO) nothing sinister about that in itself.

Just trying to realign a few things that were straying a bit far from the truth,

"Facts" are greatly appreciated over speculatory accusations!
After all, I thought that that was what this thread was all about, presenting
facts in order to draw conclusions. Somewhere along the line (probably
very early on) conclusions had already been drawn.(IMHO)

Maybe the people the Green Berets speak of in their posts should cast off their forum identities and reveal themselves for who they really are and answer the questions that have been asked of them instead. Then we would know the truth one way or the other. Why are they all so silent? I know what's been being posted has got me curious. How about any of you?

If you want to call anyone "on the carpet" why not call everyone on the carpet?

I was just curious, I know that I haven't posted alot...it's hard to follow some of this...but I was wondering...What the heckfire is this thread about? It says Humble request and I thought that it was supposed to be a gathering of information, not a finger pointing playground brawl. Everyone seems to know everything but NOTHING is really being posted now.

Back to topic. It seems that there are questions being asked that aren't being answered. Let's not allow these distractions to sidetrack us. If the Berets have anything of substance, let them bring it on. Until then, I would suggest you leave them be. So far, I don't see anything harmful in the posts unless you are one of the Rats/Trolls (as I see it.)

Now, why are the questions that Taxman, myself and others have asked being ignored? You all are looking for "facts", no? If there is nothing to hide, lets go forward, unless, of course, you don't want to.....

We really can't go too far without answers to our questions, choochie, because anything we say from here on out will be met with "Liar" and "Prove it", the very same thing we are asking of them.

Again, if they have nothing to hide, why do they? BM isn't allowed to talk details at this point. What is their excuse?

Well Arc,
All I can say is that they don't want to answer these questions, because they can't without implicating something that they don't want us to know. But if you look around the forum, (not this thread) they are still here causing havoc, and luring members into the same ole' trap.

Fwiw... imho it requires a lot of reading and digesting... combined with some creativity and/or experience to provide meaningful answers to these questions. That said, a summary might be of much value: it might bring those who lost track back up to date... and grow the number of people able to make a (valuable) contribution.
How is that roundup proceeding? Time span? Almost nothing done or almost finished or ...? (No pushing intended... must be a hell of a job... it's just to get an idea...)
