The way it was posted in old PIPS forum, it happened as follow: After months of non-payments from PIPS, Speeddy Wallet account balances become negative and Speedy Wallet started to close accounts. To mention that Speedy Wallet was working smoothly, the only justification we were given for not using it for payments was because it was not fair to go ahead of those waiting for bank transfers. He needed an incident (acounts to be closed) in order to pay some attention to Speedy Wallet. Speedy Walled reversed everybody's account back to 0, using their own money (wonder why didn't PIPS do it instead).

Instead to start paying the debit card requests, he came with the iddea that Speedy Wallet should implement a better platform, so we can do a withdraw to the bank from the card (what was wrong with withdrawing the money from the ATM's?).

After 2 months Speedy Wallet implemented the platform at his end. PIPS never did the implementation on its side, as Bryan didn't sign the contract (never giving a reason why). People in office were saying that the contract is waiting on his desk. He initiated the platform and I suppose, as a skilled businessman, he negociated the terms too, before the implementation. Yet he didn't sign the contract, and in his typical manner, he totally ignored our requests to be informed why.

There was something obviously holding him back, catching his breath perhaps at the speed of some kinda deceit taking place.... right under his very nose and office mat??? As to those ATM WDwals, the amount and fees imposed were not adequately guaranteed with the pace the demanded transfers Speedy Wallet had anticipated.... Are there good reasons on that too that BM was nervous about? I wondered myself if decisions to forestall had the merits to warrant his delay....

GREAT HORNY-TOADS! I go away for a couple of hours to take the family to dinner and raise a martini to Paddy, YB, Mia, and even Style for presenting the "where the hell are we" membership, and look what I find. Sheesh!

We have gotten off track. The history is great and necessary, but remember the groundrules as set forth. We are starting to put words in peoples mouths and make assumptions about what BM should have done, didn't do, was thinking, etc. Not what we are here for.

I will pose tomorrows first questions here now:

Did Pips reach critical mass in Q4 2004?

WHY was Picpay necessary? [I caution you to answer based on theory, not what happened. Insert "generic payment system/platform" if that helps]

If you remember, the original currency decided upon as a base for speedyW withdrawals was the canadian dollars. We then had a midstream switch to the US dollar.
There was some desention about the exchange fees SW implimented which fell more than a bit short when dollars in the account seems lacking from expectations.
The original fee per transaction POS and other diddley things you do with a DC plus the account fees did not match up with Bryans original
outline of what speedwallet was going to do for the membership.
As Yogi stated, speedy were not so speedy to help their own members,
and those accounts were only reset to zero when PIPs did indeed
interveen. Nor we do not know what agreement Speedy and PIPs came to regarding a new platform, but if Bryan did,nt sign it, knowing he was backed against a wall, it cant have been in our favour one bit. The original agreement had failed, what would the new terms have to make them favourable, or one sided?? You may guess that speedy sure wanted to cover their ass this time around and eliminate any minus sign from this deal.
The only other possibility would be a good deal but no way to guarantee funds from the bank which we know was the root cause of the original problem. Somewhere in there lies the truth methinks :)

With one eye open, and the other working, sometimes things can still slip through the cracks. However, when you look at the whole process, you have to wonder, who and how did the funds get diverted?

Surely they can be traced?

I've been enjoying this rehash for the most part,still irks me that there are those who claim this info was never made available before...WRONG!!
Most of this was brought up on the old PI forum,and as usual was mostly shouted down or ignored by the masses(read mob).
I joined the original PI program,but I never paid in as I was not much at recruiting and that seemed to be the way to make any real money with it.I watched as GW came along,still refraing from parting with my hardearned nickels.When the new PI evolved in the spring of 2004,I finally took the plunge,and I am glad I did.I never got rich but I at least got my original monies back,which meant a lot to me after being burnt a few times.
Anyway,just wanted to show my support for this very timely thread.Keep it going,guys!!!

Cheers guys. It is a very interesting read, but Arcturus is correct, we should stick with known facts. Times and places can vary depending how one places that information with events, and early 2005 untill the PIPs site closed we saw all kinds of stories starting to circulate with less known information coming our way from any reliable source. Now I dont know anything regarding Gary, Warren, Billie and some others how they stand in all this, only what I have heard as a rumour, so I have no intention of passing any comments.
Even some of our facts are debateable because of their source origin, but we will try and steer an impartial overview of what we do know to be true, with anyone who does have some knowledge helping out, if they would :)

Two points or FACTS here for all.

1) Own Platt posted in another forum that the water purifiers were sitting on the dock of the company that engineered them in Florida when the Pips offices were shut down. And obviously headed to where Bryan said they were going. Remember that is incredible that Owen Platt would admit that.

2) There are about 7-9 states in the US that have cease and desist orders against Pips, Bryan and a few others who were involved in Pips. And specifically state that Pips is/was a ponzi scheme.



Ok and here is some Pips history I once obtained from a fellow I always liked called "PaulM"




"Yes I myself joined PI in July 2002 and having made some money in the reverse matrix original program, I moved on to other programs in October 2002 which was the time that PI had started advertising for the Clone Matrix...
In those days I was in aprox 4-8 different recruiting programs at the same time and could not make up my mind about the Clone Matrix since I could not understand how it worked...

But in late Dec 2003, I was talking to LarryB who was in my downline in 2-3 of my ongoing programs and he suggested that I take a look at the Clone Program again.

I joined MM1 in early Jan 2003 in 2 positions and never looked back...

Yes, instead of paying for 3 months only it was changed to 4 payments over 4 months for a total of $850 per position... but I am still amazed that some members are still posting that they invested $850 and lost $400 since they only got a pips of $450 as compensation...what a drag...

Now this I cannot understand since everyone of them, thanks to Bryan has withdrawn $'000's of $$$ from each position by now... but I guess for some members their glass will always be half empty!!!

Because of the 4 months payments, many members got into trouble after the launch of the Clone Matrix on 21 April 2003, but we helped each other and ploughed on!

Since I had some reasonable earnings from my other programs, I decided to buy 10 other new positions in MM2 and bought from selling members who had committed to too much, another 4 positions.
I then bought another 4 in MM3 in order to help get it launched! and 2 more in MM4 which never got launched! Total 22 positions...

I was lucky to get 4 of my MM2 Clones hit TOP positions in October 2003 which paid for all my other non-paying positions!

Having formed a partnership with MichaelR to help members who were in trouble, we decided in late 2003 that we should do better by investing in the 2% program which we could grow and help members in trouble.
We took the opportunity with the clones closing in January 2004 and I dedicated one of my positions, friends22 to charity and MichaelR added $500 from his account. We also got another 7-10 members who added some $$$ and built friends22 up to approx $1400 at launch!

When 4 months down the line, when Bryan asked us to designate our sponsor in order to get our back payments of our commissions!
I made a plea to members and am happy to say we ended up with approx 140 members designating friends22 as their sponsor, so that really gave us a boost of $1400 per month extra until sponsoring got taken down!
From there friends22 never looked back...

In the meantime I was lucky to befriend Torben in Mid 2003, who was also helping us to save some of the members' Clone positions... So when he sent me his very first spreadsheet of what the returns of the 2% program could provide... it suddenly dawned on me that the compounding of earnings was the key to the whole program.

So that is how in November 2003 before pips even got launched, I Loaned a good sum into the program and re-loaned manually every night after commission got paid... since there was no automatic re-loan then.

With the launch of pips, my main position became a pips position and I never looked back... going from strength to strength...

friends22 also took off as well as my 21 small pips positions...

Yes I remember the days, when back in July 2002, Bryan would reply himself to the phones when I had occasion to call PI!

Bryan has never let us down... I have complete faith in him...

It therefore gave me great pleasure when in Hawaii on "Meet the troops day" when I got the chance to meet him, shake his hand and thank him personally for what he had done for all members!

Believe me PIPS is the real deal... and no matter how long you will keep looking on the net you will never find another program like pips!!! No matter what a certain other program claims... "
