The merchant program was in place earlier than that, BJ. I understand the reluctance of BM on member w/d's, but things started to go sideways and diagonal in the fall of 2004.

Arcturus, hi mate :0))
We may have reached a point amongst our known readership, scratching heads and searching forgotten acres of wilderness, where you may have to forego some questions. I,m pretty vague from early 2005 myself since I was "off the scene" on another caper.
Your right about the merchants arriving before 2004 dimmed out.
You may refer back to the correspondence I had with one merchant regarding Picpays cloak and dagger terms followered by some cloak and dagger antics performed by some of the merchants!! That letter was after the fact, but it still continued from both parties.
If you remember Picpay help funds as pending on all orders and only marked the account as cleared when shipment appeared processed. When the merchant actually received those funds remains unclear as to who received what first.
I hope someone does step forward and fills a few holes :)
You may also find vagueness regarding the steps from a slowly dwindling supply of dollars to members withdrawal accounts and the hopefully new payment platform viz, bank and V A T.
What we do know as facts are, Fraud, prevailent within the membership itself, within the merchants dealing with PIPs members, and new money coming into the company.
We also know that certain members of Bryans staff, some recently taken on for a specific purpose were restless. One of these even attended a seminar in Panama so that we, as members could have the latest info on Asset Protection, one more area that PIPs were considering as a benefit to the membership.
Anyway that does,nt answer your questions, just more facts to add to the pot.
Regards

I don't think so Paddy. What is evident, is that events as you allude to did indeed happen, it is/was real, and it was global. What I am doing in this last page of "Preamble" is to finish the groundwork/base for the rest of our discussions. Once everyone understands the timeline heading into 2005, as well as the history leading up to the events of which very few have any knowledge, we can move forward.
The way it has unfolded for me is that there are 5 distinct "camps" of information (I organize the anti-Pips, anti-BM into 1 camp as their message is basically the same, regardless of the outlet). Of these, 1 is part of BM's trusted circle, and always has been, 2 have mostly Pioneers, and 1 is what I am a part of, and we are now sharing with the RolClubbers (mostly, anyway. We will NOT be sharing our own "hunches", as they point fingers quite specifically at friend and foe alike.) I do not wish to downplay any other "groups" as somehow illegitimate or unknowing, I only can report intelligently (sort of) on what I actually know. (For instance, I do not frequent Nairs forum or the Aussie forum, but I would not ignore or lend no credence to what they discuss or "know".)
Verstehen?

there was a post in the old ...old forum that PicPay was operational on May 6, 2004...which was also the 1 year anniversay of PI...
As for December 2004....
There was no CC platform...only wires and checks were being accepted and it was taking some 2 weeks for them to be posted to accounts...
BM was still traveling and didn't return until December 19th....
GN was giving the updates....
the 5YP launched...
any new launches...such as the 3%...we pushed off until 2005...
midmonth....the reason being given for problems with withdrawal functions was migration ....

Yo Arcturus and friends.
Seems we have a few critiques who dont see any purpose in this thread.
I see the same people when I attend a soccer match back home, touchline experts full of wisdom how each player should perform and the same spectators a much better referee than the poor guy on the pitch.
Myself, I have quite enjoyed this journey. Maybe all the facts are a little disjointed and others blurred, nonetheless we have travelled and learnt something, remembered something, all without falling out with each other over details. I think that says a lot.
All are welcome to contribute, we are not finished yet :)
Regards
