It wasn't the chat rooms that did it, Surfer. It was actions by some who were acting out of ignorance, malice or both. You know, then, for a fact that Pips ran out of money? Really! And you base this on...........

You are correct, though, that it is what it is. Considering I am pretty confident that I know a teeny tiny bit more factual information than yourself (unless this is just an excercise of your Ego), I don't have the same certainties as yourself. It remains to be seen what and where.

I wouldn't write the obituary just yet, Surfer, as we don't have all the facts.

I would agree that the chat room crowd did figure out they could do damage to PIPS and other similar programs by exposing them for what they are; some were so incensed by PIPS that they now seem to devote their lives to destroying its reputation, we know who they are.

Thank God for search engines on the internet, through which people can get in contact with others in their situation and don't have to be held hostage to a beguiling fairy tale. Pyramid schemes thrive on secrecy and chat room helps "turn the rock over."
