FACT: ECOTrust is now joining the investigation to see how many payments they channelled to PIPS.

Largo, how is it NOT constructive to point out all the discrepancies posted by Bryan in regards to PIPS?
To the contrary, I think it is very constructive. It helps us each in making an informed decision. Wouldn't you agree?
I'm not the one saying don't join the lotto! I'm the one saying join the lotto if you want, but remember what this man said then and there is inconsistent with what actually happened. You can ignore the inconsistencies, but the fact is, no one can deny them!

Boots, I found your post spot on. Nothing was sparred at the Hawaii Convention, We stayed at the Hilton on Waikiki Beach for goodness sake. I don't know the specific amount of members that attended but the Convention center was full. I know Bryan had to pay a couple Million up front. Our Picpay was used for reservations, so the money was there for that. The last withdrawal I received was from Dec. paid in March after returning from the convention. My next withdrawal was from Jan.4th 05 that I never did get. We discussed the next convention and it was set up to be in Portugal. They had already started the planning and had sent someone their to check into hotels and centers large enough to accommodate projected number of members. Bryan said Pips was getting so large that we probably would not be able to hold another international convention after that, countries would have to do conventions separately. He had not even opened pips up to China and Japan.

Now then guys :)
Arcturus started this thread with an impartial opinion, the same reason I joined in and hopefully others.
Starting from day one in the life of PIPs the intent was to rake over that old ground, to see where the cracks were forming, where the problems were building, to get some answers, like any addict attending A Rehab Centre..a cure, not a quick fix untill the next visit.
Rake and rake if necessary, the roots are there if we can expose them, the planters have left evidence if we dig deep enough.
Its not an easy or straightforward exercise, maybe quite futile when all is said and done, but at least we all have tried to fit this puzzle together so that at least we have a common understanding of what went wrong and why.
We have the plot, and the players, lets find those clues :)
Regards
Paddy

I have been reading this forum for a while, and I must admit that some posters like Largo makes me wonder why he still think that PIPS will ever be back.
My personal observation or input to this PIPS saga:
1. The first setback in PIPS was when BRYAN in Sept 2004 launched the pension fund stating that the investment was backed by ONE OF THE BIGGEST insurance companies called Allianze! There was never a thread of evidence that this was a true statement! And normally an investment in pension funds will never be lost, unless it is prooved a scam!
2. It was stated by Bryan that picpay was backed by gold!....and despite several emails to PIPS managemnet in 2004 in order to have this statement verified, those emails were never answered.
It was further stated by PIPS that picpay should be considered and be as safe as a bank account!...well, again the fact is that we were able to withdraw any funds from our picpay ( bank) accounts from December 2004 until PIPS was CLOSED in August 2005. Nearly 9 months.
It is now 8 month ago since PIPS was closed down, actually 16 months gone without being able to withdraw or touch our money in our picpay accounts.
My conclusion is based on experience in high-risk investments, and I have never recovered one single cent from any of my investments or programs that have been closed longer than 3 months.
Why should PIPS be any different?...if so PIPS should definately be the first investment program to enter the Guinnes Book of World Records!

Thank You the TRUTH...
At least you did some DD to back up your post...
BUT tell me WHEN BM stated as you claim..
"when BRYAN in Sept 2004 launched the pension fund stating that the investment was backed by ONE OF THE BIGGEST insurance companies called Allianze! "
I'M not aware of such a statement FROM BRYAN MARSDEN...
SHOW ME THE EVIDENCE...
You see ...there is a TEAM who knows what has been going on and WHAT BM has stated...SOOO... before you post ...make SURE that your statements are ACCURATE...

Largo!
Unfortunately, I no longer have access to the PIPS forum, but his launch letter (forum post) stated the fact that the pension fund scheme was backed by Allianze!
I attened a meeting held by Bryan during his World tour in 2004. During the meeting he sold us the details of the pension fund scheme (private and corp alt), and during the meeting he pulled out an Allianze card from his pocket saying that Allianze would guarantee for the initial investment.
