I clearly remember statements from PIPS management stating that the pension fund was backed by Allianz. Then there was a video going around a while ago where Bryan was flashing his own personal Allianz health insurance card and the gullible claimed that was evidence that the pension fund was backed by Allianz!

There are some of us who actually have a memory!

GN was in charge of that.

He said about the pension fund that Allianz was the companies major insurer, but that they needed more insurers for different components and that he was looking for others to cover those.

    So the BIG questions are:
    - Was it true?
    - if it was, what happened?
    - if it wasn't true, why lie and who knew?
    - Was it only GN who worked on this or did BM also work on it personally?

    BTW...

Going back in time. Sorry I didn't post when it was at that place in the timeline.

First I'd like to add something about the problems with people trying to bring down BM / PI / PIPS. Fact: That started even before PIPS was born. Even back with the 2% program at which time everyone certainly were being paid on time. They tried to bring down pips from the very beginning. That was NOT because of withdrawal delays (because there weren't any. The only reason that I can see is that they didn't believe it or that they didn't like the idea...)
In time they got followers due to the withdrawal delays, but the question of what caused what caused what still remains...

Secondly, goldierox mentioned that "Eon Bank took over where HBSC left off..."
As far as I remember that's not entirely correct. Eon was handeling transactions even before HBSC came into the picture. They started using HBSC because Eon couldn't handle the load. Then when HBSC froze the accounts, it was again only Eon to try to handle everything alone.

    Big question:
    - Who was responsible for getting new banks to take over?

Thirdly, in the same post goldierox states that Burn was giving updates until January 11th 2005... I'd like to add that he posted several times after that. His last post, I believe, was on march 3rd 2005.

fourth, I may be getting ahead a bit here but about the fire in the datacenter, I think it was in the beginning of june 2005. Wasn't it?

You, mmfast: make me laugh...sizable acct...afraid to lose it...? Be realistic...
I prayd for PIPS to come back...and let me tell you...the only prayer that ever failed me, was this one.../ it gets buried deeper and deeper as time goes

Default I guess you don't remember...

    Costa,

I hear ya, however it does help me to have these many pages of details scattered around my desk right now. I happen to be looking at an 8 page print-out from a canadian pipster's April 10, 2005 post which goes to great lengths with both fundamental info and analytical mathematics to prove that Pips is not a ponzi...

Though the big boys haven't released the monies to Bryan, I am convinced that "PureInvestor is a licensed investment company and by law, must use a trust company to manage your funds." It will be back.

As hard as Malaysian law is against any kind of theft, Bryan is still walking the streets after 8 months of investigation. Do you really think that he would jeopardize not only his future, but allow his wife Sharon to spend the rest of her natural life in a cold, dark, moldy cell, eating God only knows what...

You would really have to be the worst skeptic to believe this of any man who loved his wife.

Well that was very nicely said, mmfast.

That is definitely true statement. I admire people with correct knowledge as you have.

I remember that thread mmfast. The guy proved mathematically that PIPs did have a viable, sustainable investment. I used to have a copy myself somewhere :(
The St Louis mini convention. There was a DVD produced by Luke, I have a copy. Bryan did have a Health Cover Card, he did show it and said all his staff had one too. That,s fine for a localised company, but the membership covered the globe and I think this may have been the stumbling block for a PIPs deal with Allianz.
By the way, well said mmfast :)
    Regards

    Thanks, newlife, paddyfield

It really does help to have many, many pages of former pip forum posts. There are so many good posts from f360, chicosan, Grateful, EagleLegal, jebonnet, and others. If anything was of particular interest, Grateful would make sure that the info was posted so that everyone could benefit. Good times, when those in the know would keep us newbies informed.

BTW been doing dd on pips(printing various website forums) months before I joined in Jan 05.

ps. paddyfield, if you file your printed posts by number, it is located in your file marked:
