Mine too...in fact, what the heck.... its all fun down there too if I hop below occasionally when the shades gets pulled down...coz I was assured, the feast is all nite long aaaand, sometimes, sometimes a little bit "well done" with the meats!!!....Originally Posted by leftyken

Obligated? Hmmmmm.......that turns on another light...... Thank you, Mr. Marsden for clarifying that point (about the CC trx and member account funding). It helps now (for me anyway) to answer a couple of questions I had on amounts and directions.
Ok. We've gotten that part out of our system, though I believe it will come up again (wink wink). On to..........HAWAII.
I wasn't there, so anyone who WAS please feel free. Couple of Rules:
It is well understood members had a great time
It is well understood that it was a class act
It is well understood members met, got acquainted, etc.
Please refrain from the fluff. What we want is substance and dialogue, both on record and off, so that those of us who weren't there (and those who are still trying to understand what Pips and membership is all about) can get a good picture. I have the benefit of first hand info from a couple members who were there, but many do not.

Sorry to interject a dumb question here, but could someone please tell me what happened to the rest of the posts that I slogged through yesterday? First, I read through about 25 pages of (mostly) informative prose on this subject . . . go away for a day . . . come back to find that two topics have been merged . . . then spend four hours reading through the whole thread again because there are now 59 pages and no way to figure out which were not there earlier . . . and return just now to find that half of the darned posts I read yesterday are AWOL. Or is this what everwiser mentioned as "cleaning up"?
This is a badly needed thread, and I thoroughly applaud the folks who have contributed meaningful information. But, as my dear old Dad used to say about computers: Where does an alien go to register?

Only about 2 pages were merged here. This has always been quite large, and I am afraid that I am partly to blame. Why say it in a word or two when a paragraph would do???!!! (lol)

Hello dragonmom...I merged in a thread that contained some information about the use of CC's for enrolling in PIPs and it really needed to be in this thread. The rest of the "neatening up" was the removal of several "bickering" posts. The majority of the merged posts would be in the latter third of this thread. I hope that helps explain it.

Thank you, Arcturus and everwiser, for your responses. Did I just imagine that there were 59 pages yesterday? And there are only 30 today? If so, I must have gone 'round the bend without realizing it.
Now, did we stop with Hawai'i? . . . I was there, but wasn't privy to any insider information, so I can't be much help. What of those who were privy? Please come forward . . . inquiring minds want to know!

I’m not for sure if this helps but I invested in December of 04. My dd told me there were some issues with banks etc which didn’t surprise me because of the wide reaching Patriot Act. However, after talking to a number of sources, I still felt confident in the man and the cause. At that point, I had to fund using wire transfer. Initiated the transfer on 10th Dec. 2004 and it took until Jan 7, 2005 to post. That wire went through HSBC-NY on its way to Malaysia. By the time I sent my 2nd wire, HSBC was out of the picture and I think EON was the only option.
Got the impression from PIPS staff that EON was providing bad service and could not keep up with withdrawls. Wired a 2nd amount of money on 26th of January 2005 and it posted Feb. 27th. Meanwhile, set up Speedywallet in Feb. 05 and had absolutely no luck with w/drawl there. Then, got picpay card, tried to fund with nearly $11,000 in PIPS funds and while the Picpay account showed the transfer in, the card could not be loaded with those transfers.
Talked to people about exchanging Picpay for cash but didn’t feel right about those conversations and didn’t do it. However, after 30 or so days of sitting in Picpay, I was able to transfer entire $11,000 back to PIPS account. Then Picpay started having trouble and eventually the PIPS site went offline.
It was faith in the idea and the goal of PIPS that allowed me to “loan” the five digit amount I finally did. I do have faith in Bryan that things will be corrected. I believe he will return triumphantly and all members will be justly rewarded. Does that mean there won't be challenges? Absolutely not. I just believe that great people when challenged, rise above, conquer and emerge victorious.

Well BM (whoever you are)............since you are now disgussing PIPS dont stop there.......................tell us the TRUTH about everything. If you can post what you have so far then I see no reason why you cant continue. I see that what you little you did post was as always...............you blaming someone else for what has happened. NEVER willing to take responsibility for what has happened. I am amazed that MANY companies through out the world accept credit cards as a payment method and everything works just fine, but not with you. The credit card processor chose PIPS as the one to screw over right? LOL.................come on now with the excuses. WHEN will you stop blaming everybody else? I just dont understand how the credit card processor only screwed over PIPS. PIPS is the only company in the world that EVERYBODY is stealing from.............. LOL...............just be man enough to tell us the truth would you...........for once!

Please, try, you guys, to communicate in a civil and mature way, a sane way. Every time I visit the forum, I feel poisoned with all the toxic hatred. Can you put the energy into stretching your imagination find new ways of expressing instead of finding clever ways to attack each other. I want to read the forums, to get info, not to watch a war between folks having different perspectives.
PEACE
