BrotherBear: There is more wisdom in that story than all of the other tidbits that have been put forward.

Consider yourself on my thank list for those who have taught me...... When we meet, dinner is on me.

Hawaii: I cannot speak for Taxman or smith1all (or others), but they both told me about the (Hawaii) program. Could we have some step up and give us their recollections about what was discussed in terms of accounts, members, payments, and opportunities?????

    Thank you.

    A BRIEF EDITORIAL:

IF the following is true, then some action MUST be done to stop this!

A post came up today saying that the HALotto site will go offline today. Now, if this is true, and it is due to the interference by -THEM-, then I suggest we calmly and collectively do something about it.

I will NOT post any names, but EVERYONE knows who have vowed to shut down BM, Pips, HALotto, etc. It seems that the campaign has now shut down the Lotto.

FOR ALL TROLLS (you know who you are): My question to you is this: How can you justify the destruction of a program or a man and membership without absolute, irrefutable proof that it is fraudulent or criminally subjective? You blast any who defend the man and program at the top of your lungs, claim that we "know nothing", and then justify your actions by saying that because the program doesn't live up to YOUR expectations or desires, you do everything you can to shut it down.

A WARNING: IF we find out [YOU] had anything to do with this, we WILL come after you. In speaking with those legally inclined, I have learned that YOU are preventing me from legitimately earning and working in a chosen field or practice - I (for one) will seek out how to cure the situation. Another thing - What goes round, comes round. PRAY the wheel you have put in motion doesn't come to run your sorry a**es over.

Now, if this is not true, then my point is still valid. Members, do you not see what -THEY- are doing? They have no interest in what is or is not. They only care about themselves and the money. They ONLY want the money. BM is in their way. We are in their way. I want to get through the thread and discover the truth - they don't want us to. Why? Because they might not get theirs. If we are right, they are screwed. If we are wrong, they are screwed. They have backed themselves into a corner. All that is left is total destruction of everything related to Pips, BM and members. It WILL get worse. They will not stop unless they are stopped.

No vigilantes, please. No hero antics. Calmly, quietly gather information on those that we KNOW to be destroying without cause, and WE ALL will confront them at the proper time and do what we can to make them face that which they have begun.

And now, let us continue with Hawaii.....

    Hi, every one!

I was wondering if Style comes back in today, if every one can agree to not give him excuses to get angry, like put downs, etc. If we don't give fuel to the fire, it won't burn. Just let him release and stay focused and only respond to the more sane dialoguing. Be strong and don't give him or any one the power to push your buttons. He can't engage in battle with out another or others joining in. If you feel you must respond, please be as clear and respectful as possible, even if he is not. Please consider this and take the time to think about it before he comes in today and every one starts reacting. It will make the forum more enjoyable to read, for me, anyway.
    Thanks!

Hawaii Convention and Malaysian Convention - the members (and Bryan) pooled together to help others fill seats at both conventions.

I received help for Malaysia but still couldn't go. Hawaii was a different matter I could and did go under my own resources and tried to help others get there too. Would be nice if some of those who were sponsored would comment here.

    Interesting,

Good suggestion Judy, but you know he will never change, he is what he is, and nothing anyone here will say or do will ever change him. Does loose cannon come to mind? LOL

He is hell bent to get revenge for his losses, and even if all comes back and all of us get paid what we are owed, he will still be the same thorn in the side, so warm up to old Style, kick back and just laugh it off, he is a rip, so ignore or enjoy him, for he isn't going anywhere. (g)

    Good luck to all, Mike

If the information that the “trolls” gave to the hosting company was that PIPS is under investigation and that Texas released C&D against it, how can be they charged for slander? These are real facts, Bryan himself should divulge it to any company he intend to make business with, before starting the business and let the company decide if they want to get involved in business or not.

I,m taking the liberty of posting a couple of emails from a good friend (with his permission) who attended the convention and gave me a day by day account of events in Hawaii.
    Quite long, but interesting.
    Regards
    paddy

I have now attended my first international PIPS convention. I look forward to being able to attend many more in the years to come because if there are PIPS conventions then that must mean PIPS are still be making payments to its members.

    Mon Mar 14.

    Arrived in Honolulu about 10.30pm.

After a few questions I am pleased to be given permission to enter Hawaii.

For the first time I have to have my left and right index figures scanned. A photo is taken of me as well for security purposes.

A video keeps stating how and why these new security measures are taken. They also state the same measures will be done when we come to leave the States. Which means the authorities know that you haven’t over stayed your visa.

I take a shuttle to the Ohana Maile Sky Court, which is my hotel of choice for the night.

    Tue Mar 15.

After checking out of the hotel at midday I take a short walk to the Hilton Hawaiian Village.

There is a whole area set up for PIPS registration.

A lady offers some fruit juice, which is very nice.

I am given an envelope, which contains a booklet outlining the going ons for the week also a nametag to hang around my neck. Plus some breakfast vouchers.

The artwork done for the convention posters and booklets is very eye catching.

I really like the new PIPS Incorporated logo.

My room is 19 floors up in the Tapa Tower. I am quite impressed with the room and the views.

I go back down to the PIPS registration area and check out the hospitality desk to see what tours etc. there is available.

I then go and check out downtown Waikkiki.

    Wed Mar 16.

With no planned PIPS activities for today I spent a good portion of the day checking out one of the largest outdoor malls in the world.

    Thu Mar 17.

Up early for breakfast then a tour of Pearl Harbour – Arizona Memorial – Missouri Battleship. Plus a short tour of Punchbowl Cemetery along with downtown Honolulu.

Get back to the Hotel about 3pm, which gave me a chance to go to the Coral Lounge, which was where they were having the Meet the Troops day.

This went from 9 am to 5 pm.

Bryan wasn’t able to get visas for a lot of the staff he wanted to being therefore he wasn’t able to have the help desks set up, as he had desired.

After talking to some Pipsters from the States I picked up my PIPS short sleeve shirt and also a PIPS cap with the Hawaiian Convention logos on them. I am impressed with the shirt.

I then got talking to Keith who as most of you will know looks after the IT side of PIPS.

I asked what was happening with the PIPS edit page where the ability to change your address details is locked. He advised that they were threatened that if they didn’t pay a sum of money that there would be DOS attack made against them. Keith advised them that PIPS would pay up and could they please advise where they wanted the monies deposited. Strangely they haven’t received a reply.

They have worked out that the threat came from England. What they are waiting for is a further approach so they can nail them. In the meantime they have to wait and somehow the profile edit page is tied into this.

Please don’t post the above information for obvious reasons.

(30 Mar – IT have now advised that the edit profile is now operating again.)

Keith did admit he was surprised and disappointed at the lack of response to some support tickets. For a major international company not to respond to requests for help going back many months was a shock. He didn’t know why these support tickets were being left unanswered. It was something that he would be wanting answers to when he got back to Malaysia.

It was good to hear him say this and hopefully it will impact on the support given in the future.

PIPS USA had a desk set up as well and I met Proracer (he’s not as big as he looks in his photo). I had a good chat with Susi (I think that was her name). She told me that DSR (3% program) had had a meeting on the beach that morning. Opps missed out on that one.

    Fri Mar 18. Convention Day.

There is group breakfast rather than having breakfast individually in one of the hotels restaurants.

Took a short ride to the Hawaii Convention Centre for the convention, which ran from 9am to 5pm.

We received our goodie bag before we entered the convention room. They certainly did a good job with the goodies. You received a satchel along with a very nice journal. The satchel had a lot of pockets and was big enough to take a laptop. Inside the satchel there was a case with a pen, which had a laser point on the end. (Mine makes more of a blob than a point however I suspect I wouldn’t be using the pointer very often anyway). Also in the satchel was a key ring, mouse pad, calculator with clock alarm and currency conversions etc. All very impressive.

Then you walk into the convention room. There were four large video screens. The size of room and number of seats and people makes you appreciate that this is serious stuff.

I am sure you would have already read about all the announcements that were made at the convention so I will just make some remarks that hopefully I will be of interest.

    Bryan spoke first.

PIPS have experienced rapid growth over the last 3 months.

The world’s financial institutions have woken up to what is happening with PIPS.

Banks have tried to lock up PIPS monies or tried to close them down.

Due to these acts they have lost 100 million in the last 3 months in revenue.
Bryan didn’t clarify this but I take this as being potential revenue.

Problems with withdrawals began with the credit card fraud and charge backs etc. Over a seven week span there was 3 million dollars worth of credit card fraud.

Then with the lost HKSB they had to return to EON Bank who got down to doing just 12 wire transfers per day. With something like 600 withdrawals requests coming in and only 12 being done you can see why there is a backlog.

Then the big news PIC Trust Bank Limited due to open in about 3 months.
A Fully licenced class A bank. The management team is all in place waiting to go. The bank is next door to the Royal Palace.
Royal Canada and ANZ (the bloodsucker that I bank with) are also setting up in Cambodia as well.

The plan is to have PIC Banks worldwide.

PIPS Realty. The domain name is PIC Realty because someone purchased the name PIPS Realty so to extract a large fee. Bryan wasn’t prepared to play ball on that one.

SEC has been into the PIPS offices five times due to complaints and they basically now come in have a cup of tea and leave.

PICPAY auctions set up to complete with EBAY.

They are looking at buying a hotel in Nalai so they can accommodate the people who will come over to do training for the various franchises.

The company who are blending and roasting the coffee for the coffee houses etc. are doing it exclusively for PIPS.

All products are done in house.

100’s of garments have already been made.

Men’s and as well as women.

    Kids collection will come.

    Kalia Chelvan UN.

This speech was the one that surprised me.

He stated that the UN do a very in depth investigation before they get involved with any organization.

He stated corporations come in and say what can you do for us. Basically asking what will we get out of this?

Bryan etc. went in and basically said “We will do it and we will worry about the rest later. That is we will worry about what we will get in return after we have helped you set up the projects etc.

For me these statements were the most powerful made all day.

One it showed a very important world organization had investigated PIPS and found that what they were doing was totally legit. The UN wouldn’t want to be receiving monies from a company making monies from a PONZI scheme. Or a company that was set to fail very quickly which would leave a lot of people very upset.

Also it showed that the leadership of PIPS was more interested in helping others than making money for themselves.

    Tom Broadbridge. PIPS Premiere Inc.

Tom basically outlined why they believe the product they are bringing out will make the billions that has been predicted.

    Q&A

I felt sorry for the other gentlemen sitting on stage alongside Bryan and Gary as there was only one question that wasn’t directed to Bryan and Gary. That one went to Tom.

    Some notes I took:

Mostly these comments were from Bryan.

Regarding the falling value of the US $.

They are continually monitoring the $. If they decide to change from the US $ they can do it within a three day period.

If they did change they would do it at such a time that it caused the least amount of loss to the value of members accounts.

Bryan stated investments are compounding faster than personal accounts are compounding.

    Membership is currently 190 000 to 200 000.

Expect to have one million members by end of year.

Could have had 8.5 million members if they had allowed in all the ones that wanted in.

They will wait for the setting up of mirror servers etc before expanding large.

Slow web service is due to the Networks.

They are only using 45% of bandwidth.

They can increase servers 42 times.

Servers can cope with the next 2 years growth.

3% program will open once PIC Bank opens. This is because they don’t want to start moving monies around and banks freezing the accounts etc.

600 to 700 withdrawal requests per day.

They are looking at restricting number of withdrawal requests and may go to one to two a month.

Bank licence is due within the next month.

It will take two months to set up bank.

2006 convention expected to be held in April.

Here is an example of how dirty the banks are.

$142,000 worth of credit card payments was approved by one Italian Bank over one day. Problem the cards didn’t exist. Half a million dollars was lost on these transactions.

    Sat 19 Mar.

Up early so I could do an around the Island Tour.

Got back to the hotel just before 6.30pm, which was when the shuttles were due to start leaving to go to the Convention Center for the PIPS Gala.

My first fashion show and it was most impressive to say the least.

The fashions were very striking and looked really nice to say the least.

Members could be very proud of what was on view.

The Gala closed day at 1am and I got one of the last shuttles back to the Hilton.

I then had to pack my bag as the Bellman was due to pick up my bag at 5am. As I have to catch the bus at 7am to the airport for the flight to the Big Island.

This was the end of the first part of the convention.

    Sun 20 Mar

My stay at Hilton Hawaiian Village wasn’t the best because I wasn’t able to get the room I was staying in cool enough for me to sleep. Which meant that I would get say a couple of hours sleep and then wake up. Yes the room had air conditioning but it couldn’t be adjusted very much.

Also the top sheet on the bed was wrapped around the duvet. Which meant you couldn’t just have a sheet over you.

Also I managed to get a sore throat. It meant that I wasn’t able to talk to well at times and then I ended up coughing a lot.

After the convention dinner I didn’t end up in bed until well after 2am and I was awake when the Bellman knocked on the door at 5.15am to pick up my bag.

I suspect in total I had about a couple hours sleep before deciding to get up to have breakfast and check out before catching the bus at 7am to the airport.

Please note there is a reason why I am telling you this and it will hopefully come clearer shortly.

While waiting to board the plane to the Big Island I introduced myself to another Kiwi, (New Zealander) George Samuel who was at the convention along with his family. They now reside in Australia.

Just going back a bit at the convention they started out by asking for all the Australians to stand up and there was a good number of them. Then they asked the New Zealanders to stand up and there would have been about 8 of us. Out of about 1700 people. Then they called on the ones from the US. Then those from Europe where asked to stand as a group. So it was kind of cool that New Zealand got a separate mention.

South America and Africa had about a couple representatives each if that.

There were a lot of members from Norway.

When we arrived on the Big Island there was some Pipsters being told that they were going to be staying at the Marriott. In Waikiki not all of the members stayed at the Hawaiian Hilton Village. My understanding was these were the members that had booked late.

I tagged my bag with a Hilton label as requested and got on the bus for a twenty minute ride to the Hotel. When I arrived a gentleman got on the bus and said that he was going to call out some names and they were to stay on the bus. Plus those already told that they were going to the Marriott were also to stay on the bus. My name was one of these and there was no further explanation given.

At the Marriott I asked the driver what’s going on he said your staying at the Marriott. Only problem sir is my bag is at the Hilton. I end up being taken back to Hilton to get my bag, which is about a 15-minute walk away.

I check into my room and then go across the street to the shopping area. On the way back I spy one of the booklets outlining the week ahead.

Still no explanation of why I am not staying at the Hilton. At this stage I am P….. OFF.

I decide to take a walk to the Hilton and find the Hospitality Desk to get some answers.

After walking around part of the Hilton Waikoloa Village I can understand why someone would want to stay here. There are shops, pools, restaurants and bird life, which is what they have at the Hilton Hawaiian Village as well however here it’s even more impressive. There are boats and a monorail to take you to your rooms etc.
Down one side of the complex the walkway that takes you to your room is lined with $7 million worth of artwork.
    There also dolphins as well.
I hope you get the idea that this place is something else.

Now I’m really P……. OFF. Why I’m at the Marriott?

Hey I paid my deposit in the first week that bookings were open.

Finally I find the Hospitality Desk but no one is there. In the booklet it states that it would be staffed 8.00 – 21.00. This is about 16.30.

I decide to go back to the Marriott have tea then get some much needed sleep.

I have to admit if someone had said hey you could fly home now I would have taken them up on the offer.

    Mon 21 Mar.

I wake up after a good nights sleep. The air conditioning system in my room does its job.

Just outside my door I find a small box made of flax. Inside there are some cookies and bottles of jam. Plus a letter from the Hilton.

    ---------------
    Aloha xxxxxx xxxx

Aloha and Welcome to the beautiful Big Island of Hawaii and thank you for choosing the Hilton Waikoloa Village as your hotel destination. We would like to thank you for your understanding and appreciate your willingness to relocate to another resort!

It then goes to outline all the great things the Hilton Waikoloa Village has to offer.

Since I didn’t get asked to stay at the Marriott I am not sure how they can use the word willingness in their letter.

Also the token gift doesn’t impress me as it’s not that light, the glass is breakable and you wouldn’t be able to get the actual flax box and straw into NZ.

Still no explanation of why I’m at the Marriott.

I go down to breakfast and bump into Ian, Karen and their son Zack who live in Winnipeg. I had meet up with them a few times in Honolulu.

We discuss what has happened and Ian advises that they were in a room on the ground floor with two small beds. They were seeking a change. He been back to the Hilton and had words with the folks on the Hospitality Desk. He had also returned his Hilton gift advising them he wasn’t prepared to carry it all the way back to Canada. He hadn’t received a great explanation on what had happened.

It was good to talk to someone else and get a bit of the frustration out of the system.

After breakfast I saw that they had set up a hospitality desk at the Marriott.
The gentleman manning the desk was a local who was employed to help members set up tours etc. We discussed the situation and what he knew about what had happened.

By this stage I had lost my enthusiasm to go exploring the Island.

I then went with Ian to pick up his rental from the airport.

About 3pm I decide to go back to the Hilton and after another walk about I went to the Hospitality Desk. Where I engaged Stacy in a conversation about why members were staying at the Marriott. Stacy worked freelance and was contracted by Tally Management to help run the convention.

It turned out that the Hilton like most hotels and airlines like to overbook.
By this stage they were overbooked by 70 odd rooms.

However they said had been working night and day to sort out the problem. As I said to her the Hilton knew what they were doing. They knew they were overbooking and then to turn around and say poor us we are trying to sort the situation out is pretty lame.

I explained what had happened to me and until now I hadn’t received an explanation of what was going on.

Cathy who was in charge of the Tally Management side of the operation turned up and I ended up talking to her. It was a very reasonable, low key and at times humorous conversation. I explained my situation and she advised me of their situation.

She stated in Honolulu the members who were last to book got to stay away from the Hilton. However these members weren’t going to accept that happening on the Big Island. So it basically came down to a random selection and I was one of the lucky ones.

Bottom line the Hilton caused the problem and try as you may basically you can’t get them to stop overbooking. Like banks they are a law to themselves.

She told me she had been yelled out and abused and people had gone way over the top. The situation wasn’t helped by member’s lack of sleep and the alcohol they had consumed the previous evening. She managed to get some of the ones at the Marriott moved back to the Hilton and when they saw her the next time they couldn’t look her in the eye due to the abuse they had given her.

To my surprise at the end of the conversation she offered me a room because I had been so reasonable etc. I hadn’t asked for one.

See sometimes it pays to play nice.

The room at the Hilton was a lot larger and nicer than the Marriott. The only disadvantage was it didn’t have a fridge, which the Marriott had.

I ended up seeing Cathy a couple of times after this. It could turn out to be a very good contact to have.

She is organising the Portugal convention. There was a lot of downtime at this convention where you could do what you liked. Cathy said that they would look at having more group activities organised next time. As members wanted to be together. I look forward to meeting her in Portugal and reminding her about the overbooking.

    Tue 22 Mar.

Beach Party with free food and drinks. An excellent live band provided the music.
The weather was hot. The sun never seems to move from the same spot.
Lots of sunscreen to stop sunburn, which I am glad to say, worked.
I’m not a big beach person however it was well set up and enjoyable.
The party went from 11am to 4 pm.

I spend most of the time with the PIPmiester Arms boys. Robbo from Winnipeg, Phil Banks (Banksey) and Paul Russell from England.

They are the guys who helped set up the PIPSmiester Arms.

In Portugal they are looking at renting a pub near wherever the convention is. Then members have somewhere to go and socialise. It won’t close at 12am like it did in the Big Island.

Also I have feeling that they have set up an account so that the drinks are free now don’t quote me on that one.

I had a couple of interesting conversations with Banksy who is a really nice guy. He went to the convention in Malaysia and ended up meeting his Indonesian girlfriend there. He now goes to Malaysia something like every two or three months. He always goes to the PIPS offices and has dinner with Bryan etc.

At night I went to the PIPSmeister Arms and meet up with the Samuel family from NZ.

A pool tournament was held which started at about 4pm and ended up finishing just before 1am. The winner was that Kiwi, George Samuel who went through unbeaten all the rest of the participants had suffered at least two losses. In fact George and his brother Paul had been hoping to get beaten so they could go and get something to eat.

George ended up with about $450 not bad for an evenings work. There was one pro player who was a PIPS member taking part as well.

    Wed 23 Mar.

Spent most of the day lazing about. Got some sleep in the afternoon to help me stay the distance for the farewell dinner.

The farewell buffet dinner was held on a large piece of lawn. At the front was a stage where a number of cultural acts were performed. The highlight was 3 gentlemen with flaming knives who were on fire to say the least.

At the table I was at were three gentlemen from Australia. We discussed what was taking place here with this convention. The word “surreal” was the one that seemed the most appropriate.

A comment was made that it was strange to think that there would be a number of members now sitting at this dinner that in twelve months time would go to Portugal as new millionaires due to PIPS.

When were leaving to go to the Grand Ballroom for the dance party a young guy who was packing up the chairs etc. asked what was PIPS?

One of guys gave him his card and with a collective effort we worked out what the PIPS web address was.

This wasn’t unusual in fact the bus driver who I gave my jam to asked the same question.

As a result of this before I attend another convention I would get some business cards printed with the PIPS logo, web address and my email address. It would make it so much easier to have that information handy when you want to pass it on.

I ended up leaving the Dance Party just before 1 am.

    Thu 24 Mar.

Checked out and back to the Airport.

I thought that of the entire airport security I would go through this would be the quickest.

Wrong the bags were x-rayed and then they went through the hand luggage by hand. I then got the wand passed over me and then got patted down as well. Never assume anything.

I ended up behind some Norwegians and one asked me if I had Irons email address. It turned out he was after Ian’s email.

Another reason why you should have a card with your email address on it when you attend these conventions.

I checked back into the Ohana Maile Sky Court when I got back to Waikiki.

    Fri 25 Mar.

Checked out of my hotel at noon and then went to the US Army Museum.
It spent nearly 3 hours there. Well worth the visit.

They had a very interesting exhibit on Four Star General Eric Shinseki a local who ended up as the country's highest-ranking Japanese American. When he retired in 2003 he was the Armies Chief of Staff.

Then checked out some more shops before going back to the hotel to catch the bus back to the Airport for the flight home, which was to leave at 11:50pm.

I mentioned that when I arrived we were told that there would be booths ready to take scans of index figures etc to ensure that the authorities knew that you had left the country.

Well I have news for you in Honolulu they don’t have these yet. Another example of false advertising by a Government.

    Sun 27 Mar.

Arrived home to check my PIPS accounts to find my main account has now just over 6000 little units working for me. Nice One.

I didn’t get to talk to Bryan or Gary but they were visible. Bryan got flu poisoning early on so that kept him out of the play for the first couple of days.

Ian from Winnipeg who is accountant did get to speak to both.

He asked Gary was it wise for a person in his office to put about $2500 into PIPS. He answered by saying look I have just helped a good friend put in about the same amount into PIPS.

Now would he do that if he didn’t think it was a good idea?

Ian spent an hour and a half in the PIPSmiester Arms one evening talking to Bryan and supplying him with drink. He basically was asking Bryan if his understanding of World Banks on how they work and make money etc. was right. Bryan advised him he was on the right track.

You would have all seen in the forum where people state there is no way that PIPS can make 2% each day to pay members accounts.

They are right sometimes they don’t make 2% in fact they can make double that or 5 to 7% a day if not more.

Ian said he had feeling Bryan let slip a bit more than he might have done if he wasn’t drinking.

Bottom line, when you have millions to play with in the right places you can make millions more quite quickly.

The obvious questions at the end of this are?

    1) Was it worth it?

    2) What did you gain from it?

    3) Are you going to Portugal?

    1) Yes. In fact in the end I don’t believe it really cost me that much to go.

    2) I meet with members from around the world. Some I am sure I will meet many times again and become real friends with.
I have learnt or should that be I have been reminded of a few things about myself.
I will be better prepared for future conventions in what to expect and how to get more out of them.
I got to visit Pearl Harbour etc.
Stay in two world-class tourist venues. (Despite the poor air conditioning at Waikiki.)
I have a better appreciation of how good PIPS is.
To have a convention with over 1800 attending is no easy task. Ok some of the food wasn’t the best and we had the Hilton overbooking saga but overall you got to be impressed with how well this operation ran.
Health wise I was never 100% with a sore throat, eyes and I suspect problems with an inner ear. Also lack of sleep doesn’t help so to the final question.

    3) Yes and it would be great if we could all meet up in Portugal. So make sure you have your funds ready when they open the doors for the bookings for 2006.

    Take care,
