Nazir is Rina's brother....
on a different subject....
is it a coincidence that the ((( victrading.com ))) web site vanished

Ok, that looks good, although we are missing some of the others, but no matter. Now, let's look at a "Where are they now?"............. Some, I can't find, but perhaps others may know. We all know what BM is doing (and SM), so lets go from there.
No pointing fingers, just where are they now. After this, we will then look at the supporting players and what is going on....(for instance, PipsUSA/BTI, Tex - in Panama I believe?, like that.....all important to the story)

To (whomever): IF the "house arrest" is true, there would be public record of such. Please provide a copy of the documentation. Otherwise, we will assume that it is another chapter of your on-going fiction...... I have no such info, nor have I heard of this from any but TG.
Funny, you seem to hold "us" to a standard of "truth" that you, yourselves refuse to adhere to. Surely, if you are correct in your unyielding statements, that you have documentation that DIDN'T originate from TG?

I'm finding it all very interesting.

Nice try SS...Off-topic threads are now in the "Humble Diversions" thread. Now let's continue on our merry way...

The diversions are interesting(!) but do not add to the factual thread, which is much too important for that.
I feel it might be useful to have a quick recap before we stray further onwards. Perhaps someone would oblige? Arcturus? Data4taxman? Then we would see a progression without having to go back to remind ourselves of the order of events.

I will only ask one question this time: how does Bryan's saying he is living out of a begging bowl, unable to spend funds without permission by the bank, square with his not being under house arrest? I personnally doubt he is confined to his house (or the room he is living in) but under some sort of fairly draconian restriction.
This is a simple request, on subject, i.e. following on a post by the thread-starter himself. A simple explanation will suffice. Anyone?
[This is all I did before and then I was personally attacked from several quarters and then the thread spun off into its usual frivolity/banality.... not my fault; but I guess some people need a scapegoat-- who is who?]

Very good, SS.....but banal? I don't think so, otherwise you'd have left long ago.....
Ok, let's look at this from 2 points of view before we get back to the thread substance.
Define House Arrest. Now, assuming that he IS, how could he get the Lotto up and going? Using -their- logic, he couldn't, as everything is confiscated, and he is being closely monitored (per definition). Further more, this question is making an assumption/conjecture that he is under house arrest by using anecdotal or circumstantial evidence. I have no problem with that, as long as logic and reason are employed to conclude an event. But -we- have been blasted by -them- for NOT providing absolute, irrefutable evidence for our arguments. One cannot have it both ways.
However, if he is NOT under house arrest, but the assets were frozen or otherwise unavailable, as has been alluded to many times over by both sides, then the "hand to mouth" existance has ample support from the opposing view as well.
Questions are good, healthy, necessary. Questions not containing thinly veiled or ill conceived threats and traps are not (this was NOT one such). This was a good, valid question. When the "house arrest" rumor came out, I went through this process. Anything is possible, but some things just don't fit right. This didn't fit right.
Besides, SS, didn't BM recently travel to help fix a programming issue?

Merci, Arcturus.
It is not SO important whether he is or isn't, but in response to your comment about how could he get the Lotto going, EASY: having a laptop, which the membership got to him, and using the internet connection of the place where he is staying (any friend of Bryan's is bound to have access) and working, as he said, on a "deferred payment" basis with the programmers, he could easily get the Lotto going (well almost).
So, I don't find this argument compelling, but as I said, it is no Biggy. (What about "house arrest" does not fit right?)
Personally, I just find it Plausible because A) there were several reports from private persons, including staff, to this affect (and why does everyone assume first off that several different people were all lying-I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt) and B) I find it compellingly plausible that authorities in such a country as Malaysia would take such a precaution (i.e. confiscating the passport) in such an investigation, especially when company assets are seized (accounts PLUS the computers) And no, I never saw any evidence that Bryan traveled, just conjecture.
So as I said, I find it entirely plausible, and think, if true, it is "not a good sign as to the overall situation" so to speak, that is my only point.
That brings me to your next point and another (last) question I wanted to ask before: again regarding (sorry) the begging bowl status: If the authorities froze "company" accounts, why didn't BM not have personal resources in a private account? Wasn't he making a modest salary from PI? Or, was he in the practice of living out of the company funds, and when these were frozen he was left penniless? OR, option 3, did they also freeze personal account(s) and if so why?
Do you see my point? A rather closing-loop logic, I know, that can't be proved either way, but what do you THINK? Leaving such questions unanswered or ignored is rather risky IMHO.
