Ah, guys...Style can't help it; it's just his "style". He's gone from playing the hopeful, kool-aid drinking Pipster to playing a young and angry Anakien Skywalker. Let's cut him some slack. Of course, if he isn't careful, he'll just hang himself harder with that extra slack; oops! Let's just hope he can return from the Dark-Side eventually. I'm willing to bet it's about the time Pips comes back.

Some startling facts about the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation:

• 80% unemployment.
  
• Poorest county in the USA. Average family income is just $3,700 per year.
  
• High rates of alcoholism, heart disease, and cancer.
  
• Extremely high rate of diabetes. Almost half of the population over 40 on the Pine Ridge Reservation have diabetes. (this is not just the adults)
  
• Life expectancy for men is 48 years. Life expectancy for women is 52.
  
• Highest infant mortality rate in the USA.

This is one of the places I work....I'm there quite often... and I work with children mostly.... orphanages, shelters, detention centers, schools. I can't allow myself to despair, I need to stay strong... my work is a serious business.

this is why I 'play' when I'm here.... if I wasn't allowed to laugh... I would have to cry. this is why I have little patience for the trolls that come here to steal hope, or to whine... excuse my childish, playful, posts... but it helps me cope

Looking into the eyes of those you help must be rewarding. It is a hard road you hoe my friend. I have shared a similar background but with abused children under the age of 8. So when someone here talks about despair, there are times I wish I could show them pictures of what true despair looks like.

Now back to fudge....it is best when cooking fudge that the temp. remains low and constant, and a copper bottom pot is used...

I agree with you 4D 100%. Accusing someone without proof is bad judgment, a specially when same person posted may times that is in support to Bryan.

I would never change my opinions, like some people do, just to make themselves happy or someone else. I stand for what is right since day one.

Either you trust someone or you not, it's nothing in between.

4D I am glad we have people like you to hang around so down the line we will have a chance to have good drink on next convention and talk about hard times that we went through.

It's very touchy story. I really appreciate you sharing with us what you are experiencing. This is why is so important to be strong and reach goals that would help those in need.

Many people are just out of vision that personal gain is not only thing to look for in life. We need to look for others too, and that is what Bryan had in mind when he started Pips business. I respect him for that.
