I just got done photocopying all my dinar . . .have them bunched nicely into envelopes of 1 mill each . .. with one broken into 500k . . .

whatever time it is the traders say the market opens in sydney is what im goin for coz i know its going to open on the forex when it opens. it probably wont post on the cbi site and they might even have the same price its been, simply because it was explained to me that there is about a 2 hour spot in there which they can push it into the forex after theyve already posted the auction.

RHYS, I'm with some of the others on this confusion thing. I believe that the announcement would be made between 10am & 11am Baghdad time. That woudl make it appro 4pm here in Eastern Australia, and 2PM Western Australia.

Since this site operates on GMT, can we just use GMT as a reference for all the times. To me that souunds like a good idea, but maybe that also makes me lazy :p

So are you saying that the CBI will or could post the 14__ rate & then change it 2 hours later?

You are so welcome.. I don't know about anyone else but I decided to record the serial numbers like someone suggested just for back up records in case theres any confusion once it leaves our little hands at the bank.. its tidious cause the serial numbers are conbination of unside down letters and funny charactors.. but gives me something to do to past the time..

When you say you recorded the numbers it makes me think you wrote them down, I would recomend scanning them instead because for one some numbers are real similar like the 7 & the 7 with the 3 bumps.
