I'm really looking forward to reading the new forum sections "before you cash in" and "latest bank rates/sercharges"... I think that just as we rely on each other for dinar info now, we'll be relying on each other for banking/exchange info in the very near future.

By the way, the folks are in for the next week or so...It sure would be nice to send them home millionaires!! I'll be around checking in, but not too active...

I will definitely be tuning in to share exchange rate and tax info. One thing for sure, the Dinar will continue to climb, so if you can wait another 6 months or a year to cash in, do so. I think in that time we will see dinar trading at over $2.00, it also makes sense to wait if you have held your dinar less than a year, so as to avoid short term capital gains tax.

I have been warned from someone on the inside that BofA likes to play the same game, but if you threaten to walk with your cash . . .they will give in. Like buying a used car, ya have to know what its worth BEFORE you walk in the door . ..and dont be afraid to take your money elsewhere!!!

I am sure that almost instantly we will all know who has the best rates . . .gotta love the net . . .real time info

Not to worry, most banks (Wells Fargo, Chase, BoA) do not charge a fee to exchange...only the cost of shipping the dinars to their international exchange teller facility as long as you are an account holder!!

In Croatia, all you need is $3 million to start your OWN bank. (Ok, and lot of knowledge, expertise, business acumen, etc., but that's all the starting capital you need.) I expect to be catered to in a private room (no, not THAT kind of 'catered to!), not standing at the counter bickering with a teller.

I expect to have a bar code stapled to my forehead and be scanned like the rest of the masses.

I just want a nice deposit, a paper bag with a bottle of wine with a screw off cap, a pack of backwoods, a trench coat, a couple of girlie mags, a double-double from In n Out, and walk way into the sunset. . . .
