Wow... lets take a deep breath and calmly work the numbers here.

If the $1.68 number isn't yours, then great, you should have no emotional attachment to it, and hopefully we can explore some computations together.

Now, the reason I ask about money in circulation is because that number is a multiplier to any reval amount. If a reval is $1.68 and there is 10 trillion dinar, then that is a dinar Wealth of $16 trillion USD.

16 trillion USD is a huge number. Its bigger than the USA which only has about 1.4 trillion USD in circulation.

Thats 246 Billion barrels of oil at $65 / barrel. If the Iraqis can pump really quickly, and do 10 million barrels per day, it will take them 24,600 days or 67 years to pump that much.

The number is way to high.

So we go back to our two components. Either the $1.68 is wrong, or 10 trillion dinar is wrong. CBI says 10 trillion dinar is right. I understand you disagree with them. So what is the right circulation number? Are you still going with 4.3 B?

Well, you've had like 20 posts to answer some real basic questions... like how much dinar is in circulation.

Do you still say its 4.3 B? Are you sticking with that? Do you still say CBI is wrong?

Lets just agree that $1.68 is not at all likely to happen.

I think we all get your point...Iraq has too much currency in circulation to support a high reval, and that you seriously doubt SGS's credibility.

It appears that you are trying to discourage others' from investing foolishly in this gamble by challenging those of us who believe in the possiblity of a imminent high reval.

I'm actually in favor of the dinar investment long term. Iraq has great potential. But like you said, I'm skeptical of an overnight 16 trillion dollar cash infusion.

Anyway, I'm happy when there is a lively debate. It appears though that you are unhappy when other people with different points of view come on board.

I've been insulted in many ways in this thread. Never once would I consider calling in a mod or asking people to leave. Believe me, I can take it.
