It showed up today because someone added to the thread. The threads stay open until the mod's close them. You can add to any thread that has not been closed. I think a couple of days ago, someone asked Neno if his source had any NEW information and someone else must of posted on 7/4/07. But Neno's original post is very old.

Like this journey has not been confusing to start, now we interject old posts as new ones. (g) It is tough enough to figure out Iraqi news, so we don't need even more difficult news to digest. This was an old post, not related to what is happening today, so hopefully this is clear and will not get people upset.

When a Thread is posted in with a New Post, it files it on the front of Rolclub in the Catagories of Forum Topics. But in reality when you click the Title of that thread from the Forum, it will take you to the beginning of that Thread. What you really need to do is when seeing it this way is to click those little errows that take you to the last Post. From there you can see the present date and either back trail it are just see the last Post.

Does anyone know or want to take an educated guess as to how the RV will be announced? Will the CBI simply show the rate on their site or will they make a public announcement or what? Please anybody with any knowledge or insight on this question your thoughts would be highly appreciated.

I personally think it'll be up on CBI first. Then maybe they'll announce.

I think it will be on Iraqi News Sources first hearing of the impending RV by the CBI (probably at their end of week-Saturday). Clearly vendors and shopkeepers will have to be tipped off to change their large denom dinars in first before the next business day for smaller denoms or there will be mass confusion and major rip-offs.

It'll be announced on their Gazette first I'd say, then the CBI, then media. I don't care how they do it - just do it.
