Hey Gloribee - As I recall the dinar girls appointed Franny as our leader. Guess you will have to talk to her. How could we ever go wrong with Franny at the head of the crew. Let me start off by saying that I understand where everyone is trying to go with this. Unfortunately, mathmatically speaking I see Indmn_01's point.
Mathmatically, speaking what you all are talking about is an Equivalence Relationship (see Equivalence relation - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia for further info). Essentially, you are saying that if A=B and B=C then A=C. So, lets follow this with the Dinar, Euro and Dollar.

Currently ---------> 1292 Dinars to 1 Dollar

After RV ---------> 1.29 Dinars to 1 Dollar

Currently and after RV
Euro to Dollar -----> 0.775 Euros to 1 Dollar

So, by combining 0.775 Euros = 1 Dollar (A=B) and 1 Dollar = 1.29 Dinars (B=C) by the common unit in each equation (i.e. 1 Dollar), we would have:

0.775 Euros = 1.29 Dinars (So, is A=C?, NO)

As, 0.775 and 1.29 are not equal this means the Dinar and Euro are not equal.

Thus, for the Dinar and Euro to be equal their rates versus 1 U.S. Dollar must be the same.

Now, if you are talking about making the rate of the Dinar versus the Euro as follows, I would agree with you:

Going from ---------> 1292 Dinars to 1 Euro

After RV ---------> 1.29 Dinars to 1 Euro

Currently and after RV
Euro to Dollar -----> 1.29 Dollar to 1 Euro

So, 1.29 Dinars to 1 Euro (A=B) and 1 Euro to 1.29 Dollars (B=C)

Thus, by equivalence

1.29 Dinars to 1.29 Dollars (A=C, Yes they are equal)

OR 1 Dinar = 1 Dollar

And thus your rumor about the value would work, but the Dinar vs. Euro rate isn't 1292, its much higher...

Geeze I would love it if I were wrong, but I think we may be mixing our rumors. As far as the Aussie CEO rumor goes, I don't see anything wrong with it as far as rumors go, but the math doesn't work with the rumor.

Mrs. CK, with regard to an earlier question about your CEO friend, have you actually asked him if he had bought any Dinars, or was it just your impression that he had not? The reason I am asking is, what does he think about you investing in the Dinar? Has he said it is good or bad? If he thinks it is good, but hasn't bought any, I am scratching my head. I understand that he may have basements full of money already, but in my experience, the rich who are knowledgeable about things don't just pass them up for no reason. Just curious why he'd just sit on his hands, instead of socking some away, even a small amount, for a rainy day. Even the rich need a rainy day fund.....

Sorry, to question this, but it makes me very very curious....

Before I get bashed here a lot, let me say I do not want to be the wet blanket. There are some positive things in this rumor, such as the numbers presented by coolspirit and subsequently MrsCK, and furthermore MrsCK's Aussie CEO info. If someone could clearly point out the flaw in my math, please do so. I would love to be wrong on this.

There's a reason for everything in this world........including Neno's change of heart bringing back some banned posters (myself included). Last week I was riding with a friend of mine to look at a boat he is considering purchasing. He works in the banking industry and holds Dinar as do I. We got to talking about the plan to send more troops over to Iraq and this and that and he started talking about dinars/dollars/euros and ratios and such. He has a tendency to talk over people's heads some times regarding money and banking so I was not fully attentive to what he was saying...just kind of zoning out waiting for him to finish so I could ask him some more questions about the boat we were headed to look at. When I logged on today and read MrsCK's post I about fell out of my chair.......this is EXACTLY what he was talking about....and I am only able to let you all know this because of my "un-banning". Thanks for going into this a little more... The point of my original post was not to disagree in anyway with the info MrsCK got from her friend but to point out the mathematical error. I truly hope the rest of the information is right and we see a reval SOON. Don't stop with the info MrsCK, in fact, see if you can get him to give up the rate in the original contracts I know you can drag it out of him....
