Proof you say to back up my statement of why? I got TWO really big ones.

#1. Budget not approved or implemented. (it may be ready but it sure as hell aint done)

    #2. No low denominations

I fully expect to be bashed beyond comprehension for this post but so be it. But before you bash me, help me understand how this rumor can become fruitfull without the two indicators I have put forth.

    Thanks for your time.

Thanks you, thank you, thank you MrsCK.

I got home from work tonight at about 11pm bummed out.

I was a little bummed because I was supposed to get a (fat) package at work from Dinar Trade, I guess I will get it Wednesday...

But I was more bummed out because my boss reamed me (and my assistant) out tonight.

I think it's time to put that bottle of champagne in the fridge...

    Thanks to all,

    Dinarstars

Thanks for the post Mrs CK... very credible indeed.

There has been many rumours of the IQD revaluing at virtually 1:1 against the Euro, so this all makes perfect sense.
thats why when you go to US Dollar Index - Real-Time Currency Trading Charts from FXTRek for Forex Trading
and put in EUR/IQD it will track the movement of the dinar. however, if you match it against the dollar it will be a flat line set at 1. sneaky huh.

Let me try to think out loud for a sec...lets say that one Euro is worth 10 cents due to severe revaluation of the dollar. Then one dinar (assuming they would peg it to the €) would be worth ten cents. Or if the € revalued a lot so it became worth two dollars, then one dinar would be two dollars.
Putting up extreme cases here as the $/€ rate is not that far from each other, but just to try to illustrate how I'm thinking (and making it clear to myself )
So why not just peg the dinar to the Euro? What's the difference in that compared to aligning the peg to the $/€ rate?

    I guess I am over-simplifying - or over-complicating! - things!

In any case, thanks for the info Mrs.CK!
First I thought that "oh, no, not more waiting...not until February!" but then it dawned on me that February is just a day away! And also a short month!

Nah... can't be that, right? But even if he is rich already ...I thought the rich always want more...

Mathmatically, speaking what you all are talking about is an Equivalence Relationship (see Equivalence relation - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia for further info). Essentially, you are saying that if A=B and B=C then A=C. So, lets follow this with the Dinar, Euro and Dollar.

    Currently ---------> 1292 Dinars to 1 Dollar

After RV ---------> 1.29 Dinars to 1 Dollar

    Currently and after RV
Euro to Dollar -----> 0.775 Euros to 1 Dollar

So, by combining 0.775 Euros = 1 Dollar (A=B) and 1 Dollar = 1.29 Dinars (B=C) by the common unit in each equation (i.e. 1 Dollar), we would have:

    0.775 Euros = 1.29 Dinars (So, is A=C?, NO)

As, 0.775 and 1.29 are not equal this means the Dinar and Euro are not equal.

Thus, for the Dinar and Euro to be equal their rates versus 1 U.S. Dollar must be the same.

Now, if you are talking about making the rate of the Dinar versus the Euro as follows, I would agree with you:

Going from ---------> 1292 Dinars to 1 Euro

After RV ---------> 1.29 Dinars to 1 Euro

    Currently and after RV
Euro to Dollar -----> 1.29 Dollar to 1 Euro

    So, 1.29 Dinars to 1 Euro (A=B) and 1 Euro to 1.29 Dollars (B=C)

    Thus, by equivalence

1.29 Dinars to 1.29 Dollars (A=C, Yes they are equal)

    OR 1 Dinar = 1 Dollar

And thus your rumor about the value would work, but the Dinar vs. Euro rate isn't 1292, its much higher...

Geeze I would love it if I were wrong, but I think we may be mixing our rumors. As far as the Aussie CEO rumor goes, I don't see anything wrong with it as far as rumors go, but the math doesn't work with the rumor.

Mrs. CK, with regard to an earlier question about your CEO friend, have you actually asked him if he had bought any Dinars, or was it just your impression that he had not? The reason I am asking is, what does he think about you investing in the Dinar? Has he said it is good or bad? If he thinks it is good, but hasn't bought any, I am scratching my head. I understand that he may have basements full of money already, but in my experience, the rich who are knowledgeable about things don't just pass them up for no reason. Just curious why he'd just sit on his hands, instead of socking some away, even a small amount, for a rainy day. Even the rich need a rainy day fund.....

Sorry, to question this, but it makes me very very curious....

Before I get bashed here a lot, let me say I do not want to be the wet blanket. There are some positive things in this rumor, such as the numbers presented by coolspirit and subsequently MrsCK, and furthermore MrsCK's Aussie CEO info. If someone could clearly point out the flaw in my math, please do so. I would love to be wrong on this.
Not to be a total buzz kill but you have a very valid point and question. WHY IS THIS GUY NOT HOLDING ANY DINAR????????????????? The rich always want to get richer. If you were privy to some valid info like this why would'nt you go out and get as much dinar as you could. FACK the contract for your company who cares when you could dump a few hundred k or a million dollars to buy dinar and then once it RVs at 1:1 or more youd be sitting on a few hundred million to a billion dollars. This you guys have to wonder about AM I RIGHT OR JUST TALKING CRAP. As my opinion or curriousity is not valid
Use common sense...the world may just start look different....its always fun to dream...and you never know they may come true ONE DAY
