Thanks Neno, it seems the problem was with Fedex yesterday. They did deliver it this morning, hopefully my assistant has put it in a safe location. I havent opened the package, but so far I am VERY happy with Dinar Trade and the price Ali sold for.
AS usual (disclaimer): Do not purchase any dinar on rumors or if you can not afford to lose all invested.

OTHER FORUMS SUCK.
heheh. just thought i'd throw that one out there.
sorry just a short break from all the drama....
it's all good though. .....totally normal in this ongoing rollercoaster situation we have all gotten ourselves addicted to.
the way i see it... even if this is just another rumor that crashes.... no big deal. we are all going to rv. soon. so if it doesn't happen feb 10th don't anyone hair out. try not to anyways. it's way beyond our control.... and that bothers some people... but hey what can you do?
now shake hands and go back to your corner.
JK
don't worry everybody.... some day we will have exchanged our junk ($$$) paid off our debts, and will not give a rats ass about being bashed in a public forum. it would be more like:
"what, you did not like my post? well... I'll get back to you.... as soon as I get done buying out my mortgage over my cell phone while flying in a jet to my scottish golf vacation. ...better yet.... I'll get back to you after the 19th hole of the 8th course I visit....then I'll be good and liquored up so I can come up with a proper response."

QUOTE=MrsCK;162841]After Post 969 from Coolespirit this morning in the news thread. A major light bulb came on with me say "stupid stupid stupid while hitting my forehead"!!! this was around 5am Texas time this morning.
So after everybody grab some coffee this morning - two of our WONDERFUL Fx traders here in our RC family went and compared CBI rate to usd/eur rate. Here is what Coolespirit was talking about in post 969:
Black = CBI dinars
Red = Federal Reserve Bank usd/euro
16 16-Jan 1,320 1,308 1.2918
17 17-Jan 1,319 1,305 1.2926
18 18-Jan 1,319 1,300 1.2942
19 19-Jan NO AUCTION 1.2968
20 20-Jan NO AUCTION 0 0
21 21-Jan 1,314 1,300 50,755
22 22-Jan 1,310 1,298 1.2957
23 23-Jan 1,309 1,295 1.3025
24 24-Jan 1,308 1,295 1.2964
25 25-Jan 1,307 1,292 1.2980
26 26-Jan NO AUCTION 0 0
27 27-Jan NO AUCTION 0 0
28 28-Jan 1,306 1,292
29 29-Jan 1,292 1.2948
OK now I only had time to go back to Jan. 16th but I think y'all get the idea of what Coolespirit was saying. CBI "IS" RUNNING ALMOST SIDE BY SIDE TO THE DOLLAR. HMMMM
That is when I emailed my Aussie CEO because now it made sense what he was "trying" to explain to me the first of the month and all the news articles that say "dinar to the dollar". He replied back a few hours later.
"Thank you for your questions, I hope I can explain my answers for you. The CBI rate to the Dollar? - This is what I was explaining per our last chat. Iraq has stated many times that they want the dinar equal to the dollar. I can understand the confusion on your part thinking 1 for 1. But by your own research team you now have a clear understanding what they are truely saying." ( OK if it RV'd on Jan. 29th the CBI rate is 1292, usd/eur is $1.2948 = RV amount $1.29.)
"Our contracts with Iraq? - Yes our contracts are wrote, but the price has not been decided. We can not work a price since our contracts fall under the FIL. All FIL contracts are per dinar currency and that has not been finalized. I will be traveling to Iraq before Feb. 23 to finish the pricing for the work my crews will do. Our crews are still schedule to leave for Iraq in Feb." (With him traveling to Iraq would only be because it has rv'd and they can set the rate for the contracts.)
"My option? We have had new contracts since first of November but are still waiting. I believe your coolespirit is dead on and CBI is really starting to worry a little with the delays. I would think that is why we see "no auction during the week" for a few days so that CBI can stay with in their plan for the RV. I feel this can not continue or the CBI will be in bad shape at the time of rv, if it was at a much later date. As I warned you at our last talk, be careful getting to close many people are watching!" (FARMMMMMMMMMMMM JIGGGGGGGGGGGG)
Here is a bit of History how this all started: The crews were to leave in October because in Plan A the RV price was set - but they changed them. The bugger (in a good way) will not tell me what the first RV price WAS!! but his first contracts had the price in them, but was waiting on the FIL. So since they changed the RV amount in August - his contracts got deleted - Then they re-wrote contracts but no price this time.
Also he said he would try and let me know if his trip will be canceled - he said he will not go if it has not RV'd.
SO WITH EVERYTHING THE LAST 2 DAYS - RV AROUND THE CORNER!!!!!!!!![/QUOTE]
I for one want to say THANK YOU for sharing this with the r/c family.
I appreciate it very much when someone steps out of the box to share with the rest of us.
We've all been through a lot with this investment and this rollercoaster ride has been getting really rough, it's information like this that helps to finish this ride out.
Thanks again Chris and to everybody that brings news and rumors of trusted people to us. You are all greatly appreciated.WE WILL BE RICHER THEN OUR WILDEST DREAMS

Ditto on Daydreamer's post! Now, since the CBI had said they were holding the exchange rate through January 31st, what does everyone think will happen tomorrow? Will the rate stay the same? Especially in light of this new 'rumor'. What would be the implications of a change?
Forgot to mention that I just picked up 150K at my credit union during my lunch time (been buying on the internet all this time not knowing that my bank could get them!!!). They were ordered from BOA, could only get 25K denominations, and they are a little more than slightly used - one is even brown around the edges.Last edited by Pegasus; 31-01-2007 at 09:40 PM. Let me try to think out loud for a sec...lets say that one Euro is worth 10 cents due to severe revaluation of the dollar. Then one dinar (assuming they would peg it to the €) would be worth ten cents. Or if the € revalued a lot so it became worth two dollars, then one dinar would be two dollars.
Putting up extreme cases here as the $/€ rate is not that far from each other, but just to try to illustrate how I'm thinking (and making it clear to myself )
So why not just peg the dinar to the Euro? What's the difference in that compared to aligning the peg to the $/€ rate?
I guess I am over-simplifying - or over-complicating! - things!
In any case, thanks for the info Mrs.CK!
First I thought that "oh, no, not more waiting...not until February!" but then it dawned on me that February is just a day away! And also a short month!
/Karin
I don't understand your response... What rumour? That February is short? Or are you referring to my quoting you?
Sorry, but I really don't understand...and I STILL don't understand the difference between a direct peg to the Euro in lieu of a peg to the exchange rate dollar/ Euro...
In either case - let's just hope it happens SOOOOOON!

Nah... can't be that, right? But even if he is rich already ...I thought the rich always want more...
Anyway, I'm ready to go PARTYING!!!!

The .93 Euro...I had almost forgotten about that rate! Thanks for reminding me!
I know you took a lot of heat due to that post... - but never from me! I have always believed you and your sources to be sincere. When it didn't happen back then I was disappointed (of course - weren't we all?) but it never even occurred to me to blame you. So I hope you were not referring to me in your answer to my post!

I really hate to bring it up, but....
Everytime someone with some juicy intel (be it b.s. or not) posts, they seem to be surprised when somebody TRYS real hard to be funny or is just down right rude. It happens all the time. SGS gets pounded on, now MrsCK is torked off enough to pitch in the towel. What are we teaching our children... if this is how we behave here? Hmmmm? Kinda scarey if you ask me.
How about everyone stops "trying" to be funny and rude. Now, I know that has been suggested over and over, but for some reason, someone has to pee in the cornflakes !!!
Now for you posters that are doing the research, 99% of us appreciate your hard work...you MUST know that the 1% have full bladders and are looking for some cereal. If you are going to "pour a bowl of flakes" you MUST be ready for the "funny" and sarcastic ones...maybe even a few rude ones too. I tell my kids to smile and think to themselves how sad for that person that they feel they need to be rude or NOT FUNNY for attention...and ignore them. Let's do the same.
For those 1% with incontinence problems, carry on, because you know you will, so there no sense askin ya to stop ...right?
In closing, thank you SGS and MrsCK for all the intel. Please try to remember the 99% here that do appreciate you and forget about the loose bladder piss pants! That's all...(for now)
