I wonder if in fact the Dinar, when it revalues, will revalue tied to the Euro.

Mathematically the ratio of 1.29 is approximately the variation between the USD and Euro, so if it went 1:1 with the Euro it would value at (approx) USD1.29.

I have felt for some time that a linkage to the Euro might be politically more acceptable, lightening the claim that the new Government is a lacky of uncle Sam; and additionally there is a lot of concern that with Greenspan gone the USD could go into some form of negative run.

I have to say I will be a happy camper (in first class hotels I might add!) regardless of whether it revalues 1:1 USD or 1:1 Euro! I'll be a moderately happy camper (sans the first class hotels) if it revalues to 10C USD.

I have also had many people talk to me about a "basket" amount for the RV but everything looks good either way.
