Totally agree lglwzrd! Iv'e seen many articles implying that once the violence and corruption are under control, or most of it, they will be able to get it done so to speak. They know what the revalue amount is going to be and now that things are calming down with the new security measures they may just finally let her rip!
Perhaps this is all part of the plan and it's why President Bush isn't about to budge with his new troop surge, it's called "Stop the violence so we can Party law!

Please keep the info coming Gloribee. There are many of us here who appreciate what you (and others like you who have contacts in Iraq) bring to this forum for us that don't have any sources. If and when the bashers say things to you just consider the source of their comments and then you will know the value of those comments and what they are made of. I won't get graphic with a detailed description but I'm sure you can imagine what I'm referring to. In case you're imagination is not as active as mine I will give you a hint. Think of the floor of a cattle pen. What's it usually covered with?

Don't let them win. What they want is to scare you off and get you to stop posting (and all the others like you). Why? I have no idea but it seems that is their ultimate goal. I cannot for the life of me see any other reason for them saying what they do.

Yep Neno, its funny how these guys are always the first to point out that someone is wrong when they don't hear about things on their timetable or aren't privy to all of the information about an event, but when information finally trickles out and the person that they were ridiculing is proven to be correct, they don't make a peep. Not an apology, not even an acknowledgement. Geeze, I know that they aren't correct everytime, but please feel free to give them credit when credit is due.

Case in point, a couple of weeks ago, an article was published in Iraq in which one of the Iraqi Ministers revealed that the FIL had in fact been passed passed by the Parliament at the beginning of last October. It was one line in the article that mentioned it, and no one on this site seemed to notice it. If they had, they would have remembered that lil ol Susie was adament that the FIL had been passed around the 10th of October when she was over at IIF. Susie took a lot of heat on that since the GOI waited till the end of the year to implement it (as it hadn't been officially anounced in the papers till then) and then as I said it was revealed in that article that it was in fact passed in October and held till the end of the year.

So, maybe the complainers need to keep their shorts on and realize that they aren't as important as they think they are, as it looks like no one has called them to let them in on the day to day operations of the Iraqi government. The fact is, is that they are more ignorant than most, as they do not know when to keep their mouths shut and wait for the information to be revealed to them. Instead they would rather beat their chests and say, look, look, look at me, see how smart I am. Actually, nope, most see how ignorant and silly they are.

When the history books are written about this little episode, I am confident that it will be people that are actively seeking information, like Susie, that are closer to the truth about what happened with the real events than those that simply complain about information that others have provided to them.

So, sorry POSTCON, I will have to disagree when you said that Susie is always wrong. In fact, she was on the money about the FIL, which was one of the first things she predicted back in October. Too bad we had to wait until January to find out she was right. Needless to say, Susie doesn't need anyone to defend her, but please, feel free to take the above information, stick it in your pipe and smoke it. Learn some patience, folks, geeze. You'll find out eventually.

That is what I have been wondering and thinking about for awhile now, every time the IMF says they are going to loan the GOI 500 million dollars. I just scratch my head and say why? 500 million isn't much compared to the GOI budget (42 billion + change)??? So, what gives, and now I see this. It does make me think warm fuzzy thoughts.

I have been thinking mid March to beginning of April, but this just keeps getting fascinating, and just when I think I am getting bored........

postcon, this is not a bash towards you, but I think your comments are a little off. I believe Susie has been right on with info she posted from her sources, I belive they are Kurds if I'm not mistaken. MrsCK even stated from her sources that things should have been signed,sealed and delivered last year. Then just recently there was a ton of info that came out about the difference in opinions about how the oil wealth should be shared. I think that is where the bulk of the hold ups came from. Had they been able to agree I truly believe that everything would have been done between Sept and Dec last year. But we all know how fickle they are in the Bagdad parliment, that is where the problem lies, not with Susis or her sources. We all have seen how quickly things can turn over there with the difference in the time zones, the media blackouts and whatever other interfereance they decide to throw at us. Anyhow it's all good, if it's not Monday it will be one day soon.

I guess one is not entitled to have a differing opinion on these threads. I did not bash SGS or anyone. My gripe, if you can call it that, is with these so-called "sources". I'm all for the factual articles that are posted with great frequency by some hard-working, diligent posters. Of course, if this rumour doesn't pan, there will be another one in due course.That's the nature of this investment. I am not in need for a RV now...I can afford to wait and I do fully understand that the rv is not in the hands of these "sources". I do not think any one other than the really top fliers in Iraq would be privy to such confidential info and that is not a rumour but a definite FACT!

Hmm, usually, I'd take this as a little sarcastic joke from you lgl, but in this case, you are on the money, sarcasm intended or not. The fact is, the plan is in place, this is going to happen, probably not on our timetable, but it is going to happen, and the sooner that all of us just relax and wait it out then the easier it will be. I realize that many of us feel that we need the money now, but I have recently learned a valuable lesson in that regard myself. A few weeks ago, I felt like I was allowing my day to day obligations to slip and I realized that I was obsessing about this investment. So, I did something that I haven't done in awhile. I prayed about it. Yep, thats right, I prayed about it.

Now this story isn't about preaching to you or apostolatrizing, but you know what the answer was that I got back? As simple as it was, it was the answer that I needed to take care of my day to day obligations and get my affairs in order and everything will happen in due time, before I was even aware of it. Now I'm sure that some of you out there are saying so... whats the big deal, you probably just heard your wife complaining..... Well, actually, my wife complaining adds stress, but this was in fact very much the opposite of stressful. It was a great relief, especially once I felt that I was back on track after letting go of my obsession. I am getting my stuff done just like the Iraqi's are and I will be prepared and ready when they are.....

Just got a call from my mother in AZ, who put the person on the phone who told her of the Dinar.

This person said, as we all know, that the World Bank is in Bagdad now and the RV should be in the next couple of days if not later today, or for us tomorrow. She (my moms friend) got this from someone else.

I have no way to subtan.. Susbst... Verify this.

My feelin's is hurt I posted a similar rumor to SGS's last week (see above) but nobody got all upset over mine. Whats the deal here, do you Have to post so many rumors before anyone pays attention!!
