I've never posted a rumour, or much of anything else, and for a long time I've resisted naming Feb. 20, '07, as the date I have reason to believe could be the reval date. I'm only posting it now because of Susie's rumour and because the date is so close and will be either verified or knocked out of the running in a few days. I have no contacts inside Iraq, this date is chosen purely on the basis of a system of patterns that I've been privy to and before you ask, the patterns have little to do with Iraq itself but include certain aspects of Iraq. Sorry to be so mysterious, won't be able to add anything more than this. Here's to everybody who works so hard and who's willing to go out on a limb and post rumours for all of us who like them. My question (and I think most of you know how positive I am about this investment and I also have utmost respect for SGS): If the dinar has already RV'd, isn't this MAJOR news? I am well aware of the manipulation of and by the media, but...

im sure we would have to hear about it by tonight ,there are tons of reporters in iraq right now and those nosy bas&%rds would find out something if a bunch of iraqis have a revaled currency.i love the info though lets keep our fingers crossed.

I mentioned the very same point earlier in this thread. Of course, it doesn't get mileage as it doesn't sound as good as the rumour itself! Hang on...it can't be a rumour anymore as it has already happened, isn't it? So, it must be a fact!

for those who wanted to know, i got a call last night from a friend who told me that it had already happened and we were awaiting notification. this information gleened from a business contact that has a business in kurdistan.

"it" being the revalue of the dinar, and that the rate was over a dollar. hence why i am eagerly anticipating this weekends passing.

oh yeah, and WooTTTTTT!!!!!

It's not so much that the "sources are never right"....I feel it has more to do with delays (embargos) that occur. No one just waves a magic wand to make things happen....and it's Iraq, where memebers of parliament don't even show up to do their jobs. Then you've got the US that says "oh no, not until Bush gets his oil!!!" Embargos.....delays...... patience!
