Now, what do you suppose would happen if I hadn't stated that it was just my opinion? Do you think everyone would just simply assume that it was speculation? OR...do you think it would set off a frenzy?

Short Answer: I suppose you would have been bashed.

Long answer: Yes, it would have been considered a speculation, at least from my side. Don't know about others, however, it would be a speculation with chances ...whatever...trying to be smart here..

So really my whole point here is that such a powerful statement, if not actually fact, should be clearly noted as an opinion in order to avoid ensuing chaos. I don't know about you guys but when I read a statement like....

"The main reason for a LoI would be for 1 big increase and not a slow and grow."

it sounds like factual information taken from somewhere else and not everyone who reads this forum is going to know that they should take everything in this thread as opinion or speculation, or, as the case may be...."flactulations" (excuse me)

This is the speculation thread, get over it. The current rate is an artifical rate, FACT. Shabibi and Jabr have stated they want the rate to have parity with the dollar/return to their old rate, FACT. They have suggested giving their people a share of the oil wealth and giving them buying power, FACT.

It is highly unlikely they would be entering a letter of intent if they only wanted to move it to say 1000 to 1 as this could be done through a slow and grow increase.

We somehow believe that the members are on top of all the news and we don't need further explanation. Any statement can be misunderstood easily.
