did he physically see the dinar? if so, he should know what notes they were...

hi everyone. i think one of the coolest things about coming into this kinda money, is being able to actually help someone down on there luck, or give a REAL contribution to a charity, not just pennies at McDONALDS drive thru.
im not a charitable person, for the most part, only because im poor.

if it cost me a nickel to $h*t, id have to throw-up !!
money cant buy happiness, but you can rent it for a few days.

SAW THIS POSTED AND IT RINGS TRUE:

Imo: Vacation Plans On Track For Parliament
"...With the Iraqi Government agreeing with world pressure and the VP's world of encouragement "Gettttt...herrrrrr...done or else!" to postpone their scheduled summer plans..."

But, realize that the Parliament's members have already had months to plan their summer vacations..plane tickets paid for...deposits made on summer cottages...Swiss Chalets booked....vacation clothes laid out...

    THEN think....

You know how bad the Swiss are about returning deposits!

    IMO

They (Members of Parliament) will not want to ruin their vacation plans, lose their money on having to cancel flights, put the summer clothes back in storage...

    AND IMPORTANTLY....

stay in the Green Zone all summer with little or no a/c and a bag of ice costing still 25K Dinar...not to mention no HBO....

    GIVEN THIS

The Parliament in the next week will pass some form of HCL, restore Sunni Civil Rights (to some degree), approve the new cabinet...have the committe that was just appointed to oversee the setting up of regional elections come back with a projected date for these elections...Final passage or commitment to 140...ect...GRANTED...AT THE VERY LAST MINUTE...

    WHEN:

Hopefully reporters on the scene have already thought to check the members' summer calendars or price line dot com...to see when they were booked to fly out..

As the late and great Bernard Trink would have said...It's all "MANURE"...Human Nature...

Universal Human Nature will kick in this coming week and we shall be hailing the great deeds and courage of the Iraqi Parliament for generations to come...

    Wouldn't you do the same?

No...but, I like the way she simplifies things and she has a neat writing style and anyone who knows and can actually quote Bernard Trink is OK in my book!

When I see things that I agree with from other boards I try to share with those who don't see this stuff. Espicially when it is a fresh though or idea.

    Sorry if that is wrong?

This just seemed to make a lot of sense to me. I thought that I would share as she seems to only post on that other place without a name.

I don't care where you got it from, it sounds logical to me. Go right ahead and keep sharing.

    Good point,

They was I look at it is this. We were all young once, and I relate this to the roller coaster rides we all lined up for. We all had apprehensions and fear watching it tear back and forth, but we all wanted to get on anyway. When we did, most loved the ride, the ups and downs, the fear, joy and smiles, but by the time it was over, we all wanted a longer ride, right? Well, this is exactly they way I look at the dinar roller coaster we have all been on, once it is over, we will look back and be thankful we had the ride of a lifetime, and a long one at that. LOL

Hang in there, I know we all suffer from frustrations from time to time, but that is normal for all investments, so enjoy the ride, all the ups and downs, bumps, fear, joy, it will all come to an end soon as we have all seen just how much has been accomplished to date, and someday soon we will all own our own roller coasters, now won't that be fun. (g)

Good luck and health to all, Mike

    Wink Cut short

Gosh Guys and Gals, I wish I could have had a longer conversation with him before we were disconnected. I dont get to chat with him very often, but I am so happy when I do! He told me before that he doesn't get to use Yahoo very often to chat on IM.a matter of fact he has been there since March and this is only the second time I have caught him on. Most of the notes we send are through the military email. He did complain before that the connections he gets are pretty crappy and the time he gets is very limited. I will email and ask him to tell me more! I will say the natives are restless!
    Keep the Excitement going!
