Yes Homer, after I posted I saw that article also. To be honest I don't know that I can find the evidence showing that at one time he intended to announce on Sunday. Another thing I don't remember for sure is whither Sunday or Monday is supposed to be the deadline for candidates to declare their intentions of running in the next election. Unless someone is able to assist on that issue we'll have to wait and see. Thanks for posting.

Ok, it has been too quiet over here, so I have gone elsewhere. But, I am extremely excited about the prospect of the 31st!! RUMOR has it that we will see an RV on the 31st, with the ability to cash in on the 4th. Some of the intel that I have read include banks being trained on De La Rue machines, new rates being given to banks, sources from the US Treasury, the impatience of the IMF and the fact that they are near doing the RV themselves because Iraq owes on a loan coming up very soon, and then there is this business with the "Red Moon" (second full moon of the month blue moon for us red moon for Iraq, Allah is the God of the Red Moon). There have been rates from 1.44, 1.49, 1.56, 2.47, and even the best and most hopeful an RI at 3+. There is also an unconfirmed report from CNBC (could not find online) that there will be a significant event in Iraq that will affect the USD....we can only hope. It seems as if we are on the doorstep of what so many of us have waited sooooo long for. Again, these are RUMORS, but IMO, there seems to be too much intel that is all hitting the same points, either everyone is jumping on the bandwagon, or this will be true. Only time will tell. I pray for all of us, be wise with your money, invest and don't broadcast that you have recently become wealthy. Be safe......and hopefully rich next week lol.

Yes, it has been quiet, and it is mainly do to Seaview taking a holiday break. lol Besides, so many are enjoying holiday season, usually the posts tail off this time of year, and my word, most of us have been through several year end periods hearing all sorts of rumors, so this board is a bit more reserved about progress, or lack thereof in reference to dinar restoration or revalue. There is indeed a lot of action going on, and if ever there was a better time to pull the trigger, now would be it, so we shall see. lol

Yeah Big D, I read the same rumors you have. I too am very optimistic but I am shy about saying anything anymore- because of looking like a fool or whatever when, as of now- 100% of the time I repeated the predictions- the predictions were not accurate.
As if that isn't bad enough, I get those "backhands" from Seaview!
Sure, she told me to keep posting the rumors, but it must be because she like to "cuff" me across the noggin, and I keep falling for it every time!
C'mon Seaview, you know I love you- there isn't anyone on here that I would rather have wack me!
And Mike, you are the granddaddy of all of us on the dinar forum- I'm glad you have stuck around after so many deserted ROL...
So, no more predictions form me...but I will say I intend to be closely watching to see what happens during the next few days- with expectation. As I said before, not all rumors are fairy tales and there seems to be so many diverse people with similar rumors or info or anecdotes, all of whom have been embarrassed before because of expecting the RV by a certain time- only to experience delays. The key here is that there have been delays; delays of the (almost) inevitable. They are just delays, but delays that have occurred for several different reasons at several different times, causing almost a chain reaction of delays which end up embarrassing those announcing predictions of dates or time frames within which the RV "had" to occur. But occur it will...sometime...soon??? I think so, based on all the news and info and intel and other communications.
I would like to write a little more but I need to stop abruptly now- so...

Sadly, yes, more delays and excuses, but they are running out of excuses, and technically, this could have been a tactic since Maliki is worried about re-election, so he may push for restoration of dinar to buy votes since he has accomplished nothing for the citizens to date, and they are the only ones that can re-elect him, so you never know what is going on behind closed doors.
