Why do business people fly the expensive business class if the goal of businesses is to minimize cost?
Businesses are supposed to decrease costs to boost profits. Then why do business people travel on the more expensive business class compared to the lowest priced economy class?
Recently I flew Business class LA to London.
The flight is about 11 hours and it was an overnight flight.
When I fly economy there usually isn’t much room to have a laptop out and be comfortable working.
I also wouldn’t be able to get a good sleep.
When I flew business class I was able to get about 4 hours of solid work done while eating great food and having FREE drinks on demand.
I made a lot more money with them 4 hours than business class cost me to fly.
I also got a solid 6 hours of good sleep in so I could wake up the next morning fresh and ready to do more work.
When I landed in the morning I got FREE food and access to a shower.
To me it was totally worth the money.
Most people with a SAVER mindset totally miss out on the opportunity cost!
