Hockey in which India has an impressive record with eight Olympic gold medals. Ebvenif hockey is the nation sport of India but cricket is most popular sport in India and Football is one of most popular Indian sports and is second only behind cricket in popularity.

I have been following the CWG and after seeing the games I can say that Indian sports are going at right direction and I am very sure that these games will increase the sports activities in the country in the future. I also came across to some news that India has also qualified for the upcoming Asia Cup which is also a great achievement for Indian national football team.
