Just because they have "boots on ground" does not give them moral superiority in the matter of facts occurring or not occurring. Pure scientific method shows that if the rumors they have are 100% wrong 100% of the time, then perhaps they are not to be bothered with regarding them as having valid information in the area of the dinar revaluation. This does not make them bad people anymore than me being unable to play for the NBA makes me a bad person, it just dictates that perhaps we should just enjoy the rumors as good fun while we wait, rather than illogically hope that next Wed (or whenever) a huge event will happen.


I have enjoyed many of these forums as unique people get together a jabber. It is a wonderful motley crew from all over the globe. But I have to say, at times, we have all taken this whole monkey circus a little too serious...

I hope nobody feels this is a flame against them, its just me saying caveat emptor, which I think is German for "Fat Kitten dressed in a meat helmet".

It's not about rumors. It's about facts and to date 'contacts' (real or imaginary) have supplied none that can be verified.

So offshorewealths(i.e. Mikes) Kurdish contacts are not verifiable?

Mike doesn't hype info about TV spots showing piles of cash on a table or relatives driving from Baghdad in Humvees that are talking on satellite phone giving info while watching the survey teams shaking the field.

He is actually the only one that has said they have contacts that I would give credence too.

My point is what are we getting? We've gotten nothing worthwhile out of any contacts!

That conversation in the Humvee was a fine example - and the TV spot that was showing every hour but somehow can't be verified by one stinking contact, is yet another!

For all this talk about, "My contacts this... my contacts that" we're getting ZIP!

These contacts are either BOLD FACED LIARS - or they just don't exist!

My contact is an Iraqi guy I worked with for five years who still has family in Iraq and speaks to them every week.

Anyone can copy posts from other forums and news sites, all of which turn out to be useless information about some Iraqi politician who has blown his nose or wiped his ass, which must have some bearing on am imminent reval.

Posts like yours are the type that are driving good members away from this forum, how long must this continue?

Excellent post. There is alot of valuable Information supplied by alot of members on this site. Even the posters who give moral support are needed. This is definetly a 2 thumbs up post in my books.

I don't mean to doubt the integrity of your posts and I agree with much that you say - it's just that for all these so-called 'contacts', what's the net gain? How can it make sense that when certain individuals try to confirm events through their contacts - they come up empty again and again!

We should have a thread called "Valuable Information Supplied By Contacts" - but I'm convinced there wouldn't be any posts.
