hmmmm...not so sure that I would want to find myself neck and neck with a DONG!! But seriously I find myself believing that the Dong is light years ahead of the Dinar in all ways and will most likely not wait around for the Dinar with regards to making a r/v move. I want to double dip bigtime.

I hope you're right Danny, but there seems to be indications that the VND wanted to RV weeks ago, and the IMF made them pump the brakes, fearing that would possibly occur.

I guess the thing that I don't get is why would the IMF even care? Vietnam is a sovereign nation far and away removed from Iraq and should be able to advance on its own merit. Do you suppose that the IMF can somehow be damaged by staggered r/v's?

That's a great question to be asked of the experts or folks with the knowledge. You're right they are far and removed from on another, but I think they (IMF) can see what would possibly happen to either economy in the situation of double dipping.

Many of us have seen the speculation about the IMF wanting concurrent rv's of both currencies to eliminate the potential to double dip..

Just wondering where you found your information about the IMF telling Vietnam to pump the brakes, or if it is just speculation on your part.?

Why wrong you call it my information when it was vaguely discussed here in these threads? I don't remember who exactly said it or the exact thread, I just remember reading it. And forgive me, I don't have a link, all I know is that it was a quick read, and I didn't think much of it. To give you a simple answer, I suspect it was speculation.

I appreciate the feedback. Just thought I may have missed something. Hope the speculation about the IMF wanting them to rv close together is based in some fact. It sure MAKES sense..

all this double dipping nonesense is just made up observations started on this and the other forum. im wondering who started the rumor of a vnd rv?? dealers started the dinar rv movement....think back as to how the 1st ones of you started to speculate...a lot can be traced back to free dinar.
