I have serious doubts about anyone's contacts in Iraq. We actually have no proof that any such contacts exist.

All we hear is, "I'm waiting for my contact to get back to me". And as usual - they never do! (and if by some total fluke we do - the info is totally lame!)

We hear them talking about their 'boots on the ground' in Iraq but it always adds up to a big '0'.

With all these imaginary 'boots on the ground' we're supposed to have in Iraq - we can't even confirm the price of a lousy candy bar!

So your saying my friends in the military and those working for KBR, are figments of my Imagination? That the Iraqi people I met and became friends with are really not there? What do you classify as a "contact" ?

the previous poster is correct.

Logic shows a reoccurring pattern that, thus far, has been 100% accurate.
After a given sample (number of times), it is reasonably safe to say that
pattern is no longer a hypothesis, but rather a fact.

Just because they have "boots on ground" does not give them moral superiority in the matter of facts occurring or not occurring. Pure scientific method shows that if the rumors they have are 100% wrong 100% of the time, then perhaps they are not to be bothered with regarding them as having valid information in the area of the dinar revaluation. This does not make them bad people anymore than me being unable to play for the NBA makes me a bad person, it just dictates that perhaps we should just enjoy the rumors as good fun while we wait, rather than illogically hope that next Wed (or whenever) a huge event will happen.


I have enjoyed many of these forums as unique people get together a jabber. It is a wonderful motley crew from all over the globe. But I have to say, at times, we have all taken this whole monkey circus a little too serious...

I hope nobody feels this is a flame against them, its just me saying caveat emptor, which I think is German for "Fat Kitten dressed in a meat helmet".

Really? There are people with contacts who provide the street rate to us all of the time. Are you saying that they are lying?

What the Hell are you talking about? If a contact can provide us with the current street rate and it is accurate then why should any other information from the same source be considered a lie? They provide what they hear and if it pans out, good, If not we just wait to hear what they have to say next... and like it ignore it....

Regrettably, information from so-called 'contacts' or 'boots on the ground' (real or imaginary) is a complete disappointment - a total flop!

We're getting absolutely no hits at bat!

I think your username should be changed to billdoesnotknow.... what he is talking about....lol.... calm down. If you cant handle rumours then you are getting your information from the wrong place. Go back to listening to ABC, CBS, and FoxNews..... you can probably handle that... maybe....lol
